It was a rather peculiar room, a dim chandelier hanging from the ceiling, a couple couches sat before a fireplace only a couple feet away from the two of them. If Sirius didn't grow up in Grimmauld place, then he would say it looked rather gloomy.

"You can't be sending me love notes throughout the day," Trevor snarled. Sirius gave him a confused look, watching carefully as he stepped closer.

"We need to talk," Sirius replied sternly. The taller one seemed to be angry for no given reason.

"Well we're talking now aren't we?" Trevor looked different. His hair hung over his eyes in a threatening way, making Sirius feel a little unsafe.

"You didn't tell anyone that we kissed, did you?" Sirius asked, their conversation starting to feel one sided.

"Of course not," Trevor furrowed his brow, "did you?"

"No," Sirius huffed, "why do you keep avoiding me?"

"The Slytherins dont like you, because you're a Gryffindor, and your family is well- that doesn't matter, it just seems weird if we start becoming friends, people might have questions."

"So let them; I want to know you," Sirius pouted, unsure if it was just himself or the alcohol making him act this way.

"Oh Sirius," Trevor sighed. Sirius found himself thinking of the way that Remus had said those same words only moments ago, "you're too cute."

"I should get back, there's a party.." Sirius muttered, feeling a bit flustered at Trevors words.

"Kiss me before you go?" Trevor gave him a half smile. Sirius complied, giving him chaste kiss on the lips, allowing his hands to linger on Trevors forearms afterward.

"Will you meet me here after dinner tomorrow?" Sirius nodded, unsure if he even knew where this was.

Sirius kissed him once more before heading back out the large doors at the entrance.

Kissing a boy was confusing Sirius greatly. He was sure that he wasn't gay, because nobody in his family was, and that stuff had to be hereditary.

After stuffing down all his thoughts and emotions, Sirius found himself stumbling across the portrait of the fat lady.

It took him a couple tries before getting the password right. She regretfully swung open, revealing the hole in the wall resembling a doorway.

The party had died down only slightly, the mass off people dispersing back to their common rooms. One person in particular, James, was holding the hand of Mary McDonald and leading her up to their dormitory.

Sirius giggled to himself and then attempted to find another one of his friends to bother. Remus was on the couch, falling asleep with a bottle of something at hand.

Sirius sat next to him, catching his attention.

"Back so soon?" Remus remarked, his eyes heavily lidded. The music was just as loud as it was before, but Sirius was a more sober from all of the throwing up he had done earlier.

"Ugh, dont do that," Sirius mumbled, changing his position so he was laying down with his head resting on Remus' lap.

"Do what?" Remus giggled, taking a swing from the bottle in his hand. Sirius ignored him, shutting his eyes instead.

The fireplace was still burning, and the warm feeling was nice against his skin. Remus set his bottle on the ground and began to fall asleep too.

He strung a hand through Sirius' hair unconsciously. It didn't take long for the two of them to fall asleep in this position.

Sirius woke up the next morning with one of Remus' heavy arms holding him down. Rather than pulling it off of him, he decided to wake Remus up.

It only took Sirius calling his name to wake him up, Remus was always a light sleeper. Remus pulled his arms away from Sirius and rubbed his face tiredly.

"Can you come to the dorm with me, James is sleeping, and i don't want him yelling at me," Sirius muttered, his voice a little raspy from the night before.

Remus nodded, his hair falling over his eyes in the process.

That his how they found themselves standing in-front of their dormitory, pondering weather they should open the door.

"Should we?"

"Nope, nope, I'm not going in there."

"Alohomora," Sirius muttered waving his wand at the door knob. A click sounded and Sirius turned the knob, stopped by remus grabbing his wrist and pulling it back.

"What?"

"Knock again," Remus pleaded. Sirius rolled his eyes and knocked on the door as hard as he could.

"You better not be naked James because I'm coming in!" Sirius shouted loud enough to be heard through the door.

They heard quick footsteps, "Just a minute Sirius!" James said frantically.

"Who do you thinks in there with him?" Sirius hummed, thinking back to the night before when he saw Mary sneaking upstairs with him.

"Hmm... maybe Marlene."

"Ten sickles that its Mary," sirius snickered, already knowing who was in there.

"Ten that its Marlene," Remus smiled, feeling sure of his choice. The door swung open and Mary left with her hair in a messy ponytail, ducking her head from the two boys exchanging sickles by the dorm room.

"You knew who it was," Remus rolled his eyes, stepping in after sirius.

"I was utilizing my prior knowledge," sirius tapped his head.

"You dont know shit about prior knowledge," remus smirked, taking off his shoes.

"Jamsie? Jam?" Sirius knocked on the bathroom door.

"Just a minute," James said through the door.

"I need you now," sirius whined.

"Sirius, I think he's putting clothes on," Remus shrugged, looking up from the glasses case in his hands.

"Shut up lupin!" James shouted from the bathroom. Remus rose his eyebrows in surprise.

"You didn't kill someone in there did you James?" Sirius asked knocking on the door. James didn't reply to this.

Sirius gave up, sharing a look with remus before he climbed into his bed and closed the curtains surrounding himself.

"Where is Peter?" James called out from the bathroom, nobody knowing the answer.
