Monday,
September 20th"Wheres my quill?!" Remus huffed as he rummaged through his dresser drawers ferociously. Sirius shrugged nonchalantly from the other side of the room, turning a page from his book at hand
"Sirius, my quill I bought last weekend," he rubbed his face with his hands roughly in order to help himself think. It didn't work.
"Whats it look like," Sirius muttered.
"It's a blue quill, an average fucking quill," Remus wanted to strangle him. He grew irritable after half an hour of aimless searching so now his roommates would feel his wrath.
"Sounds like a nice quill."
Remus whipped his head around so hard that Peter feared it might fall right off. He glared at Sirius who smiled back in return.
"You stole it, I only just bought it; after YOU lost mine," Remus gritted his teeth to keep his temper under control. His skin was blazing with anger and agitation and his palms were shaking with sleep deprivation. The full moon was in a week and he had begun to feel signs of it earlier than usual.
"What makes you think that?" Sirius pouted, pulling an innocent face. Remus wanted to pummel him to the ground but, before he put that thought into motion, the door opened, revealing James on the other side.
"Whats goin' on," he asked, cautiously moving towards his bed. The last time the two of them had argued in the dorm they began throwing things at each other; it was over a simple game of chess.
"He lost his quill and now he's accusing me of stealing it," Sirius spoke innocently, but not innocent enough for James to believe. James rose an eyebrow and turned to Remus.
"Well, where did you last see it?" James queried. Remus huffed and turned back to his drawers.
"Really James? You don't think that I haven't already looked there?" Remus was furious with the sheer stupidity in their dorm room. James nodded slowly as if he didnt want to be involved.
"Well, I'm going for a walk," Peter slid off his bed, making his way towards the door before things got violent.
"Yeah me too... Tryouts are in an hour, dont be late Sirius," James followed after Peter. The door shut behind them and the dorm room seemed more like a battleground.
"I swear to god Black, if you have my quill I will throw your mattress in the lake."
"Well when you say that, It makes me not want to tell you where it is," Sirius snickered.
"So you know where it is?" Remus turned around to face him.
"Yes, but, you'll have to pay me," Sirius shrugged, setting down his book on his chest. Remus dug his fingers into his other arm to refrain from lashing out and hitting the childish boy before him.
"Okay, well I spent the rest of my allowance on that bloody quill, so, you're gonna have to wait a bit," Remus pinched the bridge of his nose.
"I never said I wanted money," Sirius slid off of his bed like it was obvious. Remus gave him a disgusted look.
"If you're asking me to suck your dick or something, you can keep the quill."
"Ew, no, I need you to get me a library book," Sirius winced.
"A library book? Why can't you get it yourself?"
"Because its in the restricted section, and me and James accidentally left the invisibility cloak in one of the passages last night," Sirius sighed. Remus nodded slowly.
