"you gonna take these?" he asked, passing her the shoe boxes.

"why wouldn't? they were a present from you?" she smiled grabbing the boxes, "besides, they actually are pretty comfortable"

jack had given her a few pairs of new balences. they had two matching pairs and one that he got because he thought she would've liked them.

but she only wore the 550's, which were the matching pairs, the green ones and the red ones.

the other pair he thought she'd like were the 990's's in gray. she didn't like them but of course she didn't tell him that.

he wasn't stupid though, he knew she didn't like them and he offered several times to exchange them but she always told him no.

you see, jack is very different from her. he isn't the type to buy stuff and never wear them. everything he buys, he uses. but cindy buys stuff with the intention to make outfits out of it but usually forgets she bought them.

as soon as she finished packing, jack and clay helped her get her things into the car. once they were done, they all had lunch with urban.

"why didn't you tell anyone you were leaving, huh?" urban said with attitude.

"i just got a phone call yesterday"

"can't believe you forced me to come just so you can leave me alone with him" clay joked with his arms crossed and a small head shake.

"you know your way home" jack said, making everybody laugh.

"when you bringing' esme around?" urban asked looking at clay.

clay sucked his teeth and sighed, "bro?" he scoffed.

"for real, when she stopping by for clay?" jack said.

"stop" cindy laughed a rubbed clay's back.

as soon as they finished eating, they left and headed to the airport.

"i'll find a way to send you the rest of your things" jack said, driving.

"okay" she nodded.

he side eyed her and noticed her sad look on her face. jack grabbed her hand and intertwined their fingers together.

he stopped at the red light and turned to her.

"i love you" he whispered.

she smiled at him and leaned in to kiss him but turned to the backseat. clay and urban's eyes were on them, making cindy laugh of embarrassment.

once they got to the airport, they helped her take her things inside. since she obviously couldn't bring everything, she only brought 3 suit cases and her duffle bag from louis vuitton.

urban and clay said goodbye to her with a hug. as soon as she turned to jack, her the tears began forming.

"don't cry" he whispered, holding her chin up to him. "i'll come see you as soon as i'm free, i promise"

she nodded, "okay" she softly said, cleaning up the falling tears from her eyes.

"this isn't a goodbye.. you ain't getting rid of me so easy" he smiled.

she sighed and put her hands on his both his cheeks, "i love you so much, bicho" she pecked his lips. "te amo" (i love you) she whispered in his ear, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"te amo" he said making her soflty scoff. he kissed the top of her head, and tightened their hug.

"i'm gonna head in already" she pulled away.
