"welcome" maggie said with her arms open.
jack turned to his mom and gave her a smile, going in for a hug but she went straight to hug cindy.
"thank you" cindy hugged back.
"welcome cindy" brian said, also hugging her.
"thank you" she chuckled.
"have you been taking care of yourself? do you feel alright?" maggie asked as soon as her and her husband pulled away from the hug. "the flight must have been dreadful to you"
"welcome back bro" clay said to jack.
"thank you" jack said loud enough for his parents to hear.
"jack" brian hugged his son.
"sorry, we were so just excited to see cindy" maggie said, also hugging jack.
"yeah, forget jackman, lets hear about cindy" jack joked, making everybody laugh but cindy. her pregnancy hormones were erupted even more on the flight.
"we should get going" maggie said, putting her arm around cindy and leaving the luggage to the men behind. "how are you feeling?" she asked.
"tired" she said, "but you know, i noticed i rarely have morning sickness"
"i heard its more common in boys. i didn't have morning sickness with jackman and clayborn"
"really?" cindy asked, raising an eyebrow.
they made it to the car and jack's dad drove off home. the whole car ride was just jack talking and cindy yawning. she was tired and sleepy, and annoyed with jack.
normally, by this time, she'd probably be getting up to shoot for the day and saying goodbye and how much she was going to miss jack.
but she spent sixteen hours straight with him on the plane. she was annoyed of his presence. maybe it was the pregnancy. she did read it was normal, especially when the mother is expecting a male. but who know, their all just conspiracy theory's right?
