"i have amazing news for you" erica said excitedly. "but i also have bad news"

"i'm sure your bad news won't ruin my mood" she smiled at jack, who was eating grapes in front of her. "tell me"

"um," she huffed, "you didn't get the part of the seven husbands of evelyn hugo- but i here comes the good news"

"i didn't get it- who got it?"

"ana de armas- besides your too young to play that role" erica said trying to make her feel better. "but, you know how were always talking about you expanding your career away from the US"

"uh-hm"

"their interested in you for the role of magdalena" erica screamed, "the filming will take place in milan italy"

"magdalena" she asked confused.

"i'll send you the script, i'm sure you'll like it. your fluent in italian right?"

"um, y-yeah- are you sure its not malena? maybe your confusing magdalena with malena"

"no, it's magdalena" erica assured. "its actually an adapted version of malena- have you seen it?"

she huffed, "yes. monica bellucci was in her prime years during that film"

"well, i'll send you the script and you let me know-"

"i'll take it"

"just like that? you don't want to read the script?"

"yeah"

"are you sure? theirs some questionable scenes"

"its fine, i seen the movie billions of times"

"okay, i'll keep you informed" erica clicked.

"what happened" jack asked.

"nothing" she smiled, "when are you leaving?"

"tomorrow, i have to be in ohio" he nodded, "come with me"

"you want us to be seen?" she took the grape from his hand, and put it in her mouth.

"don't you?"

"s-so, were back?" she asked, shyly.

"na" he sat up from the grass. she furrowed her eyebrows and slowly nodded, "i'm joking" he smiled, and grabbed her hand. "only if you want to" he placed a kiss on the back of her palm.

"julissa! come here!" they heard cindy's cousin, daniela yell for her daughter.

the little two year old came down running, laughing, as her mother chased after her.

"julie" cindy called for her, reaching her arms out.

before daniela could grab her daughter, she jumped on cindy and wrapped her arms around her, so her mother wouldn't take her.

"can she stay here with us?" cindy asked, rubbing julissa's back.

"okay, but don't give her anything to eat. she just ate and she needs to take her nap" daniela said, earning a nod from cindy. "bring her in when she's tired, please" she said before she left.

as soon as daniela left, julissa let go of cindy and sat down between her legs. she looked down at the bowl of grapes that were in jack's hands, and took one.

jack laughed, making julissa smile at him.

"how old she is?" jack asked, holding her hand.

"two. her moms the one that married the white boy" she laughed, "her grandmother is aunt claudia" she played with julie's hair.
