they both laid in bed starring at the ceiling, in awkward silence.

the only noise was the traffic from outside due to the open window in her bedroom.

"i should get going" jack sat up and put on his underwear.

she hummed in response as he continued to get dressed. once she saw he was almost fully dressed, she put on her robe and her sippers.

she walked out her bedroom and he followed too.

"do you want some water? or anything to drink?" she offered before he left.

"nah, i'm good. i really gotta go" he made his way to the door as she followed him now.

he opened the door and turned to her, "bye" she gave him a small smiled.

jack nodded and picked up his hand to wave at her, leaving her standing there awkwardly starring at him.

she closed the door and sighed feeling embarrassed. was it that bad? unless his preferences changed, i did everything he liked- at least what i remembered, she thought to herself.

raine sat on the couch, with her hands on her forehead, when she heard the some keys.

she quickly stood up and ran to her bedroom to see if he left anything behind. when she realized he didn't find anything, she went back out to the living room, finding sarina laying on the couch.

"hey" raine smiled.

sarina opened her eyes and sat up, "hey"

"how'd it go?" she asked, still smiling.

"fine" she smiled, "what are you so happy about?"

raine shrug her shoulders, "nothing"

"did someone come over?" sarina stood up, making her way to raine's room as raine ran behind her. she gasped when she saw raine's bed undone. "are you serious? what kind of disgusting trash fucks in the afternoon?" she crossed her arms.

"nobody came over" raine pushed her out.

"was it dj? ben? roshawn- no, maurice?" sarina smiled.

"no- you know i haven't talked to nobody except for maurice, he made me drop all of them"

"who was it?" she tugged on her arm, like a little child with a smile.

raine hesitated to answer. she didn't want to tell her bestfriend, oh it was jack, so she had to lied.

"maurice"

"i thought he left yesterday to miami for training?"

she fucked up.

"eh-um no. he left today, just now actually"

sarina furrowed her eyebrows in confusion but took her answer. "was it good?"

raine smiled, "yeah" she shyly nodded, "i just don't know if he enjoyed it"

"why you say that?"

"because he just got up and left"

"maybe he was in a rush" she shrug her shoulders.

"maybe" raine nodded.
