"stop pacing around the room and sit" maggie said to her son.
"i can't, i'm nervous" jack said finally sitting down, and moving his leg up and down.
"jack" cindy said.
he sighed and chuckled at how nervous he was, "you recording this?" he turned to urban.
"say whats up everybody" urban said, pointing the camera to cindy, jack, brian, maggie, isabel, clay and esme.
he zoomed closer to esme, and pointed the camera right in her face, only to have it smacked down by her.
"stop, you could see my acne" esme said with a small scoff.
before urban could say anything, there was a knock on the door.
"come in" everybody, anxiously said.
the door opened and the doctor came in, "good morning" she said with a bright smile. "we have the whole family today"
"everybody was excited" isabel said, with a smile.
"i can imagine, the first grandchild?" she asked, looking at isabel, maggie, and brian.
"yes" they all answered at the same time, making the doctor giggle.
"lets get started then"
she walked to the cot where cindy was and turned on the monitor. she grabbed the x ray and the jelly.
"remember its cold" she pulled up her hoodie, revealing her small baby bump. "do me a favor and turn off the lights please" she said to urban who was closer to the door.
he turned off the lights and she put jelly on cindy's tummy. she put the tool on her belly, revealing the baby inside her tummy.
"wow" maggie whispered, with a huge smile. "look" she shoved her husband to pay extra attention to the screen.
"can you play the heart beat?" jack asked with a huge smile.
she nodded and fixed up the sound system. she turned it on and turned back to cindy's belly.
"thats better" isabel said, holding her daughters hand.
"this is the head, the hand, his finger- oh" she gasped when she noticed she made a mistake, "its a boy" she smiled and turned to them.
"a boy?" cindy said with a huge smile.
the doctor nodded, making everybody in the room smile. jack wasn't going to lie, he did expect a girl, but he was happy he was going to be a father either way.
