"happy birthday, angus" she smiled, hugging him.
"thanks" he hugged back.
after a few seconds, she pulled away. "jacob couldn't be here tonight, but this is from him and i" she handed him his birthday present.
"ah, you shouldn't have" he put his hand on his heart, "thank you" he smiled, "uh everybody's inside"
"okay-"
"uhm, jack's in there-"
"okay" she shrug her shoulders and walked in, not letting him finish his sentence.
she entered with a smile, but it fell out when she saw jack standing there with raine, talking to dominic and hunter.
what the fuck is she doing here with him, she thought.
she eyed raine down and acted unbothered. she made her way to dominic and hunter.
"hi!" cindy said with a huge smile, ignoring jack and raine.
"whats up" dominic said, side hugging her.
"where you been girl? you disappeared!" hunter smiled, and hugged her after dominic.
"i've been busy" she pulled away and turned to her left side, finally acknowledging them. "hello" she said in a dry tone before turning back to the couple.
feeling awkward, dominic and hunter just starred at each other. jack let out a bitterly scoff as raine just stood there, with her arms crossed.
"i'm going to say hi to everybody, but i'll see you guys later" cindy smiled, and left.
she walked away with a straight face, trying to hide her anger.
she grabbed a drink from the table and walked off to maude who was standing with zendaya and tom.
"hi" she smiled at them as they smiled back and said hi.
"you okay?" zendaya asked, noticing her complexion.
"yeah" she gave her a fake smile.
"are you sure? you seem sort of red" tom said in his accent.
"i'm okay" she assured with a bigger smile.
zendaya looked at the corner and noticed jack. oh, she thought to herself. tom turned around to see what zendaya was looking at and noticed jack.
"is that jack harlow?" he squinted his eyes.
maude let out a low gasp, making tom look at her confused. he genuinely didn't know cindy and jack use to be a thing.
