Our first stop was an airport, though we were quickly disappointed by the discovery that none of the planes were operational.
In the lobby, we met two boys, one tall and pale with styled black hair and four adorable hamsters. His name was Gundham Tanaka, the Ultimate Breeder. The other had sharp teeth along with medium-length hair, dyed a bright pink, covered with a beanie and wore a yellow jumpsuit. His name was Kazuichi Soda, the Ultimate Mechanic. Both were kind enough, but I have to say. . . Gundham seemed a little delusional while Kazuichi acted a little too friendly towards me. . .
Who are you to judge? I said to be quiet.
Next was a store called "Rocketpunch Market". It was stocked to the brim with all sorts of products; food, drinks, diving equipment, surfboards, you name it.
The first girl we saw there was timid, not much taller than me. She had long, dark magenta hair cut in uneven bangs while she wore a kind of nurse uniform. Her name was Mikan Tsumiki, the Ultimate Nurse. After our interactions with Mikan, Hajime noticed another girl peeking out from an aisle. She had long black hair styled in horns with streaks of white, pink, and blue. She also had piercings in her ears and lower lip while she wore a typical school uniform with a bright pink ribbon and fingerless gloves. Her energy was hyper and perky-- as to be expected of the Ultimate Musician, Ibuki Mioda.
Subsequently, Nagito lead the way to a hotel site, complete with 17 private cabins, a pool, a restaurant, and an old log cabin that was "off-limits" according to the rabbit, Usami, for safety reasons.
While we were exploring outside, we met with the baby-faced Ultimate Yakuza, Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu. However, Nagito warned us not to mention his features, lest we want to keep all our fingers. We then met Mahiru Koizumi, the Ultimate Photographer. I liked her outfit and her personality, though she was a little rude to Hajime and Nagito, telling them to "Man up and do better". Lastly, we met with Nekomaru Nidai, the Ultimate Team Manager. He was tall and had a muscular build along with a loud personality.
He practically made Hajime scream his own name because he claimed his voice was "too soft". I don't take to loud noises very well, so I covered my ears. Nagito noticed and asked Nekomaru to tone it down which he did happily along with an apology.
Afterwards, we entered the main hotel called "Hotel Mirai", which Nagito said was the Japanese word for 'Future'. The lobby was fitted with arcade games, a lounge area, a reception desk and more.
Near the reception desk was a girl slightly taller than me with rose-coloured eyes covered with glasses and silver braids. She wore a darkened school uniform and carried a large cylindrical item strapped to her back. She introduced herself as Peko Pekoyama, the Ultimate Swordswoman. When I asked about the object on her back, she confirmed it was a bamboo sword but also clarified that a misaimed blow could be fatal as well as an aimed one. We all got relatively quiet after that and thought it best to back off.
Near the arcade machines, I noticed another girl occupied with the games. She had light beige hair, some of it being held back with a Galaga clip. Nagito had to yell to pull her out of the game she was playing, even then she never turned away. She said her name was Chiaki Nanami, the Ultimate Gamer. That explains the pin, I thought. Hajime and I introduced ourselves and I commented on her hair clip.
"Oh. . . you know the game?"
"Mhm! I play every now and then," I answered.
"Maybe we should play together sometime. . ." She offered. ". . .Co-op's a lot more fun anyways. . ." I happily agreed and we left her to continue her game while we advanced upstairs.
The upstairs restaurant was large enough to hold a banquet, or at least that's what Nagito said. I couldn't help but agree, even the kitchen size supported his claim. He also noticed two people by one of the tables talking and suggested Hajime and I introduced ourselves.
There was a short boy with styled brown hair and tanned skin. He also wore what looked to be a chef's uniform. He introduced himself normally enough to Hajime as the Ultimate Chef, Teruteru Hanamura. When he noticed me, however, his attitude changed. Not in a very good way either. There was also a girl taller than me with long blond hair adorned with a sparkly black bow, smooth pale skin, gracing blue eyes and a dark green skirt. She was gorgeous. She reminded me of me...
"My name is Sonia Nevermind," She spoke. Her voice was kind.
"She's known as the Ultimate Princess, which means she's actually royalty." Nagito added.
"I see. . . I suppose that explains your beauty," I complimented.
"Oh my, you're too kind!" She exclaimed. "On the subject of beauty, I have to say your outfit is just adorable!"
Adorable? I felt myself stiffen at the word and my excited smile began to fade. Sonia's voice became muffled as she and Hajime conversed and I felt myself start to shake.
"Hey, are you alright?" I felt a warm hand on my shoulder, I looked up to see Nagito with a concerned look on his face.
"I--I'm fine. Still taking it all in I guess. . ." I assured. I spaced out as Teruteru began to ramble. Eventually, Nagito tapped my arm and said he and Hajime were leaving. I agreed and we left the hotel site.
Our final stop was a farm called the "Usami Corral", though it lacked any type of cows or animals in general. There was a chicken, but once Hajime and Nagito brought up the lack of animals, Usami popped up and turned it into a cow. Nagito played it off as a trick or illusion that was set up before we arrived, but it seemed a little too realistic for that to be the answer.
After Usami's magic trick, Nagito led us over to a short, petit girl with large blonde pigtails sitting on the ground. She kept pressing her finger into the dirt, like some sort of game. After getting her attention, we learned her name was Hiyoko Saionji, the Ultimate Traditional Dancer. It wasn't until she actually turned to face us that I noticed her orange and green kimono and child-like appearance. If she didn't have the attitude of a typical teenage girl, I'd assume she was a child.
You're one to talk. Shut up.
"Hey, you!" She called.
"Hm. . .? Oh, did you need something?" I responded.
"Do wanna squish Mr. Ant with me?"
"U-Uhm. . . I think I better not. I still haven't met everyone. . ." I reasoned.
"Aww, okay," She sighed. "Hmph, wuss. . ."
"H-Huh!?"
She's right, you *are* a wuss. I said shut up.
After walking away from Hiyoko before I did something I'd regret, we met with another girl. She was a brunette, tall, tan, and slightly muscular. Her white button-up shirt didn't quite cover up her chest and I felt my cheeks go a little warm. I learned her name was Akane Owari, the Ultimate Gymnast. I caught Hajime staring a little as well before Nagito called him out. . . very loudly. We both went red and avoided eye contact with Akane, though she didn't seem to hear him. Either that or she just didn't care.
Once we were finished talking, Usami appeared on the monitor and called us to the beach for "a present for everyone that'll make us all very happy", whatever that's supposed to mean.
What kind of 'gift' would make this situation better?
