(A/N: I'm sorry that this trial has been taking me a long time to write, I've been caught up in school and exams and stupid people. Please bear with me and I'll try my best to keep to a schedule of some kind. Thank you and please enjoy!)

"Well, now that we've decided to believe Hiyoko. . . now what?" Ibuki asked.

Chiaki looked up as she thought. "If the killer was luring Hiyoko into a trap, then something that was used there might be a clue."

"Do you mean the letter?" Peko guessed.

". . .No, it was probably the gummy."

"Huh?" Akane raised an eyebrow. "Candy can be a clue?"

"Hey, when you woke up, was the gummy already there?" Chiaki turned to Hiyoko.

"Ah, now that you mention it. . ." She thought for a moment. "I feel like it wasn't. . ."

". . .Just as I thought."

". . .Just as you thought?" Hajime echoed.

She put her hood on as she explained. "If the killer planted evidence while Hiyoko was there, she would've thrown it away if she found it."

"Which means. . . the gummy was placed inside the closet after Hiyoko fled from the beach house?" Nekomaru confirmed.

"The killer returned to the scene of the crime?" Hiyoko repeated. "After I left?"

"They wouldn't have to do something that troublesome as long as they hid somewhere within the beach house." Gundham suggested.

"That's impossible!" She refuted. "There's nowhere to hide! I even glanced inside the shower room as I was running away. . . but there was nobody there!"

"Then. . . does that mean the killer came back?" Kazuichi guessed.

"Hmm, I wonder. . ." Chiaki looked up again as she thought.

"No, that would've been impossible. . ." I responded. I glanced at Hajime who appeared to be deep in thought.

"But I didn't see anyone else in the beach house!" Hiyoko reminded me.

"That doesn't mean they weren't there."

"Do you think the killer might've been hiding?" Hajime asked. I nodded.

"You spent all that time thinking just to say something so pointless. . ." Hiyoko mocked. "How disappointing. . . Didn't I just say there was nowhere to hide? Do I have to explain it in another language so you can understand?"

"Her personality got a hell of a lot more forceful once she stopped being a suspect!" Ibuki commented.

"No, there should've been a place for them to hide." Hajime went on. "A place you didn't look, Hiyoko."

"Wh-What are you saying? Stop being annoying or I'm gonna make Akane bop you on the head and shut you up for good."

"Just think about it." I urged the room. "Where's the one place in the beach house Hiyoko wouldn't have looked? The one place the killer could've been hiding in."

"The killer was probably hiding in the closet." Hajime responded.

"The closet. . .?" Hiyoko echoed. "That's where I was locked up!"

"After you woke up, you said you rushed out of there, right?" He asked. "Then. . . you probably didn't look inside the closet very carefully."

"But could two people even hide in such a small place?" Peko questioned. "And without Hiyoko knowing?"

"That's why the killer made sure to arrange a hiding place." Chiaki stated.

"What about the surfboard case in the closet?" Hajime suggested. "I'm pretty sure they could have hidden in there."
