To the motel I go!

I didn't expect to find much there, and I wasn't disappointed. Each room was decorated in dull yellow wallpaper and old grey carpeting, with single beds and dated covers, even a small refrigerator near the door along with a bathroom at the back of the rooms. I examined each of them, finding all the rooms to be exactly the same. I sighed, exiting the last one and stepping back into the parking lot. I took out my E-handbook and checked the time. 5:30 p.m. That went by quickly...

I sighed, slowly starting to make my way to the music venue. I took my time crossing the bridge to the third island, so much so that the sun was already set by the time I reached the music venue's parking lot. The sky was painted in the dark colours of the night and was bespeckled with hundreds of thousands of sparkling stars, some brighter than others of course. Upon reaching the parking lot, I noticed Nagito and Gundham standing there idly. I approached the former first.

"Nagito... Ibuki invited you too, right?" I asked.

He smiled and waved. "Yeah, I'm honoured. But since everyone else is also going to be there celebrating Fuyuhiko's recovery... no matter what, I think it's too rude for someone like me to go inside before everyone else arrives..."

"Someone like you...?"

"Ah, you don't have to worry about me. You can go inside first." He gestured to the doors of the music venue.

"Oh... Alright then. I'll see you inside, okay?" He nodded and I started to walk inside.

I passed Gundham on the way, not really bothering to stop and talk to him after I heard him muttering to himself about constellations and a resurrection... Before walking in, I heard some footsteps behind me and turned around to see Hajime following me inside.

"Ibuki invited you too, Hajime?" I smiled at him.

He nodded with a small smile and breathed heavily as if he was out of breath. "Yeah... but... Ibuki only gave me the invitation 20 minutes ago..."

"You... You ran all the way here, didn't you?" I asked, still with a smile on my face.

He just nodded again as he caught his breath. After a minute or two, he seemed okay and we started walking inside the music venue. I had never been inside until now, so everything I was seeing was foreign to me. The floors and ceiling were a dark grey concrete and the walls were made of a tawny-coloured brick. There was a bar stationed on the wall opposite to the door and a performance stage on the adjacent wall. There were also two black pillars on the outskirts of the stage along with two large speakers. Orange, cheetah-print floor curtains draped behind the speakers, seemingly covering whatever performance Ibuki had prepared.

Almost everyone was inside the venue already, illuminated by various neon signs and lights around the stage. Nagito followed in after Hajime and I, but soon enough Hajime abruptly stopped walking.

"F-Fuyuhiko... why are you...!?"

I looked to where his eyes were fixed, eventually landing on a certain short, blonde yakuza who stood in the crowd. He seemed to have everyone else's attention as well, considering that he wore a black eyepatch with a stylized white spiral over his right eye; the one that had been damaged during Peko's execution.

"What...? Is it bad I came?" Fuyuhiko asked, his hands tucked in his pockets.

Hajime shook his head with a concerned smile. "No, not that... is it okay for you to move around?"

The blonde shrugged and crossed his arms. "... Yeah, it's nothin'."

"There's no way you're okay! You're seriously injured!" Mikan objected. It was clear that he didn't exactly ask if it was okay for him to leave the hospital.
