"I'm also a little worried about Nagito. . ."
"Huh?" Hajime looked at me with a confused look. "What's he got to do with this. . .?"
"It's just. . . he's been missing all day." I looked back to the water. "Kazuichi and Nekomaru definitely know something but they won't tell. . . I can't help but be a little concerned about his wellbeing."
"Have you checked his cabin? Maybe he just shut himself in there. . ." He suggested.
"Maybe. . ." I brought my feet out of the water and picked up my shoes and stockings. "If he doesn't show up for breakfast, will you come look for him with me?"
He stayed quiet and looked away.
"I see. . . that's alright." I smiled. "Any requests for breakfast?"
". . .Not really." He responded. "Orange juice, maybe?"
"I'll stop by the supermarket in the morning." I waved him goodbye and headed to my cabin.
Once I got inside, I changed and collapsed on my bed, covering myself in the blanket. I slowly closed my eyes, drifting into an exhausted sleep.
I woke up, though not to the morning announcement. I slowly sat up, seeing the faintest trace of sunlight spilling into the room. I looked up at the clock, 5:47 a.m. . . . Yawning, I pulled the covers off me and got dressed, making sure to tuck the small orange bottle in my skirt pocket.
I opened the door and stepped out into the cool morning breeze. Leaving the hotel site, I headed to the Rocketpunch Market to pick up a few things for breakfast. Namely orange juice, as Hajime requested.
I found what I needed and headed back to the hotel restaurant. As expected, no one had arrived yet so I got to work on breakfast. Before I realized it, the morning announcement came on, displayed on the monitor in the seating area.
I had roughly 15 minutes before someone came in, so I began plating the food and setting it out at different places. Again, I made sure to make extra in case anyone wanted extras. Once all the plates were out, I set out 15 glasses and went around with the orange juice. I turned back to the kitchen and began to clean up when I heard someone coming up the stairs. Kazuichi was first today.
"Woah. . . Did you make all this!?" He beamed.
I nodded. "Take a seat wherever you'd like. There's plenty extra, so just let me know if you'd like seconds."
He took a seat and stared down at his plate. His face grew uneasy.
"What's the matter?" I asked, worried. "I can make you something else. . ."
"Ah, n-no it's not the food. . .!" He assured. "It's just. . . How are you so. . . content?"
"Content. . .?" I echoed, walking over to him.
"I mean. . .did all that stuff Monokuma said yesterday not phase you?" He asked. "Like, about the traitor and World Ender?"
"It's not that I'm unphased. . . I guess I just have the same views as Peko." I answered. "Monokuma hardly told the truth about our school memories, so why would he be truthful about something like a traitor? I won't be surprised if everything he told us is a lie, but I'm not holding my breath either."
"So. . . you're indifferent?"
"That's one way put it." I nodded. "Now, don't let your breakfast get cold."
I turned back and continued to clean up the kitchen. One after the other, everyone else arrived at the restaurant. Kazuichi asked them all the same question and got various responses. Hajime was the last to arrive.
