I grabbed a towel from my bathroom and put it over my shoulders as I walked out of my cabin and started for the diner. I didn't see anyone on the way there, not that it was odd for everyone to take the day in their respective cabins. It wasn't long before I folded up my towel and placed it on the counter in the diner. I prepared a tea/coffee for myself and took a seat on one of the barstools. Soon enough I heard the door behind me open and I turned, expecting to see one of the girls.

Needless to say, it wasn't who I was expecting. . .

"All right, we're here!" Kazuichi entered the diner with his back turned to me. I noticed Hajime following him in. "Now we just have to stake out a spot and wait until the ladies arrive!"

"And when are they gonna come?" The brunet glanced around the diner but neither of them noticed me. "Did you happen to overhear that with your sensitive ears too?"

Kazuichi sighed and looked out the window. "They mentioned something about coming a little after the sun starts to tilt. . . so maybe around 4:00 p.m.?"

4:00 p.m.!? Sonia said to be here around 3. . .

"It's 3:00 p.m. right now so. . . we still have to wait one more hour!?" Hajime reacted.

"Always make your move early." The mechanic defended. "That's just the basics, you know."

"Hey, I don't know if you should be talking like an expert right now. . ."

"It's fine, it's fine." Kazuichi insisted. "Just make sure you keep watch by the window. It'd be bad if you didn't catch Miss Sonia on her way to the beach, you know? It's our job to keep that from happening. To get to the beach, they gotta pass in front of the diner. . . You better keep your eyes peeled! This isn't a game!"

I heard Hajime sigh to himself just before I saw his eyes land on me at the counter, making his face go red. He immediately looked away, speeding over to a table by a window and burying his face in his hands. I soon felt my cheeks get hot as well as I grabbed my towel off the counter and sighed quietly.

". . .Please don't tell me you two came here to stalk us." I hoped, placing the towel over my shoulders again.

Kazuichi flinched and whipped around to face me, his face going beet-red a moment later. "Y-Y/N. . .!? Wha- What are you doing here?"

"Well, I came here to go swimming with the girls as planned. . ." I answered. "I was early so I came in here for a bit, then I see you two waltz in talking about watching for us to go to the beach. . .? Maybe I should go tell them not to come. . ."

"Nononono!" The mechanic panicked, raising his hands. "W-We were just planning to go to the beach too! See, it's just a coincidence!"

"Kazuichi. . . You were just telling Hajime to keep watch at the window, specifically telling him to watch for Sonia in her swimsuit." I reminded. "Are you really going to try to convince me you being here is a coincidence?"

"W-Well. . ." He sighed in defeat. "Alright, alright, the plan was to get to the beach just before you and the girls and then play it off as a coincidence. But. . . can you blame us? I mean, can you imagine Miss Sonia in a bikini!?"

The pink-haired mechanic blushed as he rambled on about Sonia's beauty. I guess her being a princess has this effect on him. . . From his place at the booth, I heard Hajime give an exhausted sigh.

He poked his head out to meet my eyes. "For the record, this was his idea. But please don't tell the other girls. . . They might beat the crap out of him."

"Is that a request?" I turned to look at him. He nodded hesitantly and I sighed. "I guess I don't have much of a choice then. . ."

"Huh, isn't that. . .?" Kazuichi walked over by the window and squinted. Hajime turned in his seat and did the same.
