What the hell did we just watch. . .?
It felt like we had been sitting in those seats for days, though it may have only been a couple of minutes. It took us both at least ten minutes to pry ourselves from our seats and slowly make our way out of the theatre. I looked up at Nagito once before we went through the doors, he looked just as emotionally drained as I was.
We reached the double doors and Nagito shoved them open, slamming them into the adjacent walls. He stood there for a moment before letting out a long sigh. Ignorant to both our moods, Monokuma skipped up to us excitedly.
"Ah, Nagito! Y/N! Please answer my questionnaire!" He held out two sheets of paper to us.
"It doesn't matter if we answer it. . ." I folded my arms across my chest. "Watching that movie was like torture."
"Yeah. . ." Nagito put a hand to his temple. "Minutes felt like weeks while we were watching it."
"U-Um. . ." Monokuma went quiet. "Well. . . I guess that's what art is. . . because it's not really art unless it surpasses common sense. . ."
I sighed. "I thought it would be another motive, but I guess that isn't the case."
Why do I feel disappointed. . .?
"I should've just settled it with money. . ." Nagito added.
". . . I definitely made the right call by not watching it." I noticed Hajime standing by the prize counter. When did he get here?
Nagito paid him no attention and we walked over to the prize counter to regain our composure.
"I'm really sorry, Y/N. . ." He lowered his head. "If I knew the movie would be that torturous, I would've never asked you to sit through it with me of all people."
"It's fine, Nagito, really. Monokuma said he wouldn't allow anyone not to watch it unless they bought that cheap sticker, so I would've had to suffer through it anyway." I reminded. "In all honesty, I'm glad I didn't have to suffer alone."
"Still," He persisted with blushed cheeks. "If money would've gotten us out of seeing it. . . I should've just settled it with money. . ."
Does he actually have that much?
Hajime walked over to us. "Hey, can I ask you two something. . .?" I nodded. "If you were told you could pay 1.5 million dollars and not watch that movie. . ."
"I'd gladly pay it." Nagito answered quickly.
"Huh. . .!? N-Nagito don't be ridiculous. . .!" The speed of his answer caught me off-guard. "No one here has that kind of money except, maybe, Sonia. . ."
He stayed silent and Hajime left the theatre. I wonder if he actually bought that cheap sticker to get out of seeing the movie. . .
"Y/N, please let me make it up to you." I turned back to Nagito. His eyes looked. . . shameful. "I'll do whatever it takes to make you forgive me for this. . . Anything you want."
Anything. . . I want?
"Nagito you really don't have to. . ."
He grabbed both my hands and squeezed them tightly. "Please. . ."
The shameful look in his eyes shifted to depravity. He put on a face I couldn't say no to. . .
"Ok, fine. . ." I caved. "What did you have in mind?"
He smiled and lead me out of the theatre. Once we were outside, he looked around before sighing in defeat.
"There are no good beaches on this island. . ." He muttered.
