"Do you have to go?" Kyle pouted clinging onto Gerard's t-shirt around his hips, had I been a little smaller, I would've joined in the fun, holding onto him so he didn't leave, because needless to say I didn't want him to leave. The amount of times Kyle had asked that exact question in the last half hour was rather amazing though, I'm surprised he hadn't gotten bored of saying it to be honest, I was certainly bored of hearing it. Although it wasn't as bad as the 'are we there yet?' Every ten minutes in a five hour car drive, that was certainly my pet peeve with Kyle, he never seemed to get bored, ever. There was no stopping him, especially if he wanted to annoy someone, goddamn.
"Yes pumpkin, I do have to go." He chuckled putting his bag down and attempting to unlatch Kyle from around his stomach, another thing was Kyle's exceedingly strong grip, which Gerard was discovering. In basic terms, Kyle never gave up, he held on to what he wanted like a life line, whether that was an argument or in this case, a person; he was stubborn. Must have gotten that from Katie.
"Or you could stay?" He grinned hopefully up at Gerard, still not untying his arms from Gerard, at this rate he would be boarding the plane too. Laughing and rolling his eyes, Gerard looked up at me, I may not have been protesting, but I wasn't trying to stop Kyle from protesting, if Gerard wanted rid of Kyle, that was up to him.
"I can't stay pumpkin, but you already made me sign a document promising to skype you everyday, spend every euro on sh-" I stood on his fooot glaring at him, to persuade him to change his wording infront of his Mom and Kyle, "Stuff for you and draw the Eiffel tower for you." He laughed, smiling at me and putting emphasis on the fact he censored himself. All of it was the truth, Kyle had hand written a long ass document thing, to ensure Gerard would skype us daily, buy Kyle souveniers and draw him a lot, I found it terribly hilarious, he had even drawn a line for Gerard to sign, it was rather adorable. I couldn't comment too much, there was no denying everyone had done things like that as a kid, I sure had.
"You promise you will skype a-and g-" Kyle began, cutting himself off, when Gerard eventually managed to release himself from Kyle's grip and squat down in front of him. Smiling at Kyle at up at me behind Kyle, he nodded sticking his pinky finger out for Kyle, Kyle happily obliged grinning widely and wrapping his pinky around Gerard's shaking it violently. "Have fun Dad." He said throwing his arms around Gerard's neck, Gerard hugging him back, before standing up. "Don't forget to skype me." He giggled.
"I expect you to be waiting for me." Gerard joked, not a good joke, because Kyle certainly wouldn't take it as a joke, oh no Kyle would take that very, very seriously.
"Don't say that" I gasped as Kyle skipped over to Gerard's parents sat in the Starbucks a few feet away, "He's going to be sat in front of my laptop for hours when he gets home from school."
"No he won't." He chuckled, looking down at my hands as he played with my fingers, running his fingers through them and over the palm of my hand, before trailing his eyes back up to mine. "If I call at ten thirty for me, that's four thirty for you, you'll only have been in five minutes." He smiled, he knew shit I didn't, I just blushed realizing I should've known there was a time difference.
"Well...I, mm." I whined resting my forehead against his chest embarassed, "I didn't bloody know did I?" I groaned, pouting jokingly at him, as he just smiled and pressed his lips softly to mine.
His hands were still interlocked with mine, his feet either side of mine, his body pressed up against me and his bags on the floor resting by our ankles. After he ran his tongue subtly over my lip, I let it slip into my mouth, softly unlinking our hands and letting him run his hands around my waist. This was before I realized we were stood quite literally, directly in the middle of a hallway of an airport, floods of people snaking around us.
