After a few minutes of driving, Steve started to feel himself wake up. Dustin was holding an ice pack to Steve's head that had multiple small bandaids all over, including a hello-kitty one on his forehead. As his eyesight started to return he looked over to his right to see Mike, but not very clear since he said, "Nancy?" Making Mike scrunch up his face at him.

Steve groaned and went to feel his face since it was throbbing. "No don't touch it," Dustin pushed Steve's hand away from his wounds. "Hey, buddy..." Dustin grinned and began to shush Steve comfortingly. Steve didn't know what to think. The last thing he remembered was seeing Daphne on the floor and then Billy get on top of him. After that Steve had no recollection of what had happened or where he was now. So, he sat up slightly and started to look at his surroundings.

"It's okay. You put up a good fight. He kicked your ass, but you put up a fight. You're okay," Dustin stared down at Steve who was groaning in pain. Then, Steve noticed Daphne who had her head right next to his and he felt a sense of worry overcome him when he heard Lucas's voice say, "Okay, you're gonna keep straight for a half a mile, then make a left on Mount Sinai."

Steve looked up at Lucas who was in front of him and then looked over to who he was talking to. Max was behind the steering wheel and Steve suddenly had the realization that they were in a car. "What's going on?" He asked and Max looked back at him.

"Oh, my God!" Steve exclaimed. Dustin was still holding the ice pack to Steve's head and said, "Just relax. She's driven before."

"Yeah, in a parking lot," Mike interjected. "That counts," Lucas protested. "They were gonna leave you behind because you were "too heavy" but-" Dustin started and Steve exclaimed again. "Oh, my God!"

"I promised that you'd be cool, okay?" Dustin added. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. What's going on?" Steve stammered. With all of the shouting and talking Daphne was starting to wake up too. "Ow, my head..." Daphne groaned and sat up opening her eyes. "Wait... where am-"

"Oh, my God. No! Whoa! Stop the car. Slow down," Steve shouted making Daphne look around her as she recognized the car that they were stuffed in. "Oh, my God! Max! Slow Down!" Daphne shouted after Steve.

"I told you they'd freak out," Mike turned to Dustin. "Stop the car!" Steve and Daphne both yelled.

"Everybody shut up! I'm trying to focus!" Max screamed and kept her eyes on the road ahead of them. "Oh, wait, that's Mount Sinai. Make a left," Lucas shouted. "What?"

"Make a left," Lucas shouted at Max. Max gripped the steering wheel and started to turn it left. As they ran over a mailbox at the side of the road Daphne held onto Steve's arm and shut her eyes. Everyone screamed at the top of their lungs as the car turned much faster than it should have.

Steve and Daphne were holding onto each other tightly and trying to get a grip on anything around them since there were of course no seatbelts.

They both shut their eyes as the car swerved and almost tilted over. Once the car seemed to be steady Daphne and Steve both opened their eyes to see that Steve was practically on top of Daphne and smushed very very close together. They quickly recoiled from one another and in just a few seconds the car came to a halt in the middle of a field.
