The rest of the day was spent in Steve's car driving to Reefer Rick's house. The only talking that was had was between Robin, Max, and Dustin. Steve and Daphne refused to jump in on their conversation if only to avoid the elephant in the room. Other than that they listened to music playing softly on the radio.

Finally, as it was now dark outside, they were only a few minutes away from where the house was supposed to be. There hadn't been anything for miles now and soon the road was spotted. "Holland Road. This is it," Robin told Steve and they drove the car down into the woods.

There were no street lights or any signs. Just a paved road in the woods. Soon, with the help of Steve's headlights, they spotted the only house on the road. Steve pulled up to the front of the house and parked in the dirt driveway. The five all stepped out of the car. Dustin handed everyone a flashlight and they all skipped up the front porch steps to ring the doorbell.

Robin and Daphne stood behind Max and kept an eye on the woods around them. Dustin rang the doorbell with a breath. He didn't even give it a minute when he rang it again.

His impatient nature getting the better of him, he rang it again and again and again and again when Steve said, "Okay. Well, that's settled. I guess he's not here." Dustin began banging on the door now and shouted, "Eddie! It's Dustin!"

Steve huffed out a "Great," and looked back at all the girls who shook their heads and rolled their eyes or sighed.

"Look, we just want to talk, okay? No cops, I swear. We just wanna help," Dustin continued to shout. Robin then stepped up to the window on Dustin's left and shined her flashlight on it. Dustin banged on the door again. "Eddie!"

He reverted to ringing the doorbell and Robin, Daphne, and Max began looking through the windows to try and see inside. It was pitch black. No light or movement. "Reefer Rick!" Dustin yelled.

"Don't scream that," Steve scolded.

Dustin knocked again and ignoring Steve continued to yell. "Rick!"

"He's not there," Steve tried to reason. "Reefer Rick!"

"Just..." Steve sighed trying to pull Dustin away from the door. "He could be really high," Steve added. Meanwhile, Max had walked back down the porch steps and began looking around the side of the house, flashlight in hand.

Daphne continued looking inside with Robin when she noticed Max's absence. Daphne walked toward her when Steve and Dustin joined Robin to look inside. "Is that a foot?" Steve pointed. "No, that's a shoe," Dustin retorted.

Daphne caught up with Max when she saw what she was shining her flashlight toward. "Hey, guys?" They called the other three over. Robin, Steve, and Dustin skipped down the steps to see a large boat house right on the lake.

Dustin didn't hesitate in walking down toward it while the others followed him. Carefully, as they walked past the small windows they shined their lights inside. Soon, they came to the metal door and Robin slowly opened it. "Hello?" she called, "Is anyone home?"
