Steve had finally seen Nancy through the gate to the rest of their friends. He let out a breath he didn't know he was holding as he watched Robin embrace Nancy and guide her away from the mattress.

"Okay, your turn, Hargrove. Let's get out... of here," Steve said, and eventually, his words faltered. At first, he couldn't believe his eyes and the next second he was rushing over to Daphne who stood behind him in front of the door.

"Daphne? Daphne! No, no, no, no, no. Daphne!" He exclaimed tapping her cheeks as he stared at her glossed-over eyes.

"Steve? Steve, what's going on?" He heard Max call to him. Steve, not wanting to leave Daphne's side, reluctantly rushed back under the gate. "It's-it's Daphne. He's got— Vecna's cursed her."

He could hear everyone scrambling around again, yelling profanities and shouting at one another. Steve turned back to Daphne shaking her, running his hands over her head, trying to get some sort of grip on reality. "Daphne, c'mon. Can you hear me? Daph? Daphne! Wake up! Come on!"

He turned back up to the gate screaming at his friends. "Whatever the hell you guys are doing, hurry up! Hurry!"

"We're trying!" Someone yelled back. He didn't care enough to register who it was.

In Eddie's trailer, the kids and Eddie were scrambling through his cassette tapes again. This time they brought them to the kitchen counter nearby. Finally, Eddie held up his Van Halen cassette. "This! This is the one!" Eddie exclaimed in victory.

Max stared at Eddie, then held up an AC/DC cassette in protest. "Uh, no! It's this one!" She shouted.

Eddie stared at Max with frustration and confusion. "Mayfield, I get that she's like your sister and all, but that is not her favorite. This is!" Eddie held up the Van Halen cassette once more.

"Exactly! Which means, I know my sister!" Max fumed and scrambled back to the Upside Down entrance. "Steve! Catch!" She shouted then waited for Steve to appear.

Upon seeing him, Max tossed her headphones, walkman, and AC/DC cassette. Then, Eddie rushed to her side and tossed up the Van Halen one. Steve caught the headphones smoothly, but both cassettes hit him and landed in their cases on the floor. He scrambled to each of them on either side of him and stared at the two in confusion.

"What the hell is this?" Steve exclaimed at them.

"Her favorite song, man! Just go!" Eddie yelled in return. Before Max could protest again Steve stood and threw his hands up into the air. "What? No, it's not. Both of them aren't!"

"What?" Max questioned in a panic.

"What is it then?" Eddie exclaimed.

Steve thought for a moment, as quickly as he could, then it hit him. "Queen! Queen is her favorite! Bohemian Rhapsody!" Steve yelled.
