As Daphne approached her locker, she could already hear the commotion of everybody exiting the gym. They all had bright gleaming faces and excitement surrounding them. It was unfortunate that she still wanted to knock Jason's teeth out.

After Daphne's first two classes, her rage finally died down. All she had to do was survive the rest of the day and she would be free of school for an entire week. Well, except for tomorrow's Saturday school, it wasn't near the same as regular school though.

Finally, at lunch, Daphne was dropping her books off at her locker when Max walked up to her. "Hey, what's up?" Daphne asked. A little surprised by her visit. "Hey, um... I have to go to the counselors right now."

Daphne closed her locker with a look of concern. "Did something happen?" She questioned.

Max shook her head frantically. "No. No. I— uh... didn't go yesterday..."

    "Max," Daphne sighed.

"I know, I know, okay. That's why I'm going now," she retorted. "Okay. Good. I'm glad you told me. I'll be where I always am, okay?" Daphne assured her and Max nodded in response, continuing on her way. Putting her headphones back on to drown out the crowded halls. Max made her way to the counselor and Daphne made her way to the cafeteria to eat her lunch.

Daphne usually sat by herself at the same table every day and sometimes Nancy would join her or people from her art class. But she didn't mind being alone with her thoughts some days.

When she came back it felt as if the population at Hawkins High had doubled though. You couldn't go anywhere without someone hanging around. And almost every seat in the cafeteria was occupied by rowdy teens.

The table just next to hers was where Eddie Munson and the Hellfire club sat. Daphne could hear Eddie's voice as he spoke and mindlessly watched him read a magazine to the group of misfits, rather loudly.

"Dungeons and Dragons, at first regarded as a harmless game of make-believe now has both parents and psychologists concerned. Studies have linked violent behavior to the game, saying it promotes satanic worship, ritual sacrifice, sodomy, suicide, and even... murder!" Eddie announced in a dramatic voice.

Daphne could hear every ridiculous word spoken and there was nothing quiet about Eddie Munson. She could faintly hear the conversation he was having with the members of his band when Mike and Dustin sat down.

Suddenly, she heard a commotion sound from next to her and Eddie climbed up onto the table. "...But as long as you're into band or science... or parties... or a game where you toss balls into laundry baskets!" He announced to the cafeteria.

Daphne couldn't help but laugh to herself while all of the popular kids on the other side of the cafeteria glared and rolled their eyes at Eddie's outburst.
