(A huge thank you to sAnTaFeEeEeEeE for helping create the character of Martha Anne! I wanted to say this when we introduced her, but I completely forgot lol. And, now the reason why I am posting so early: If anyone's read my book Imagine, the character of Bekah is loosely based off me and Spring Creek Park is based off my favorite place in the world, Hersheypark. It got me through a very hard time a few years ago and I've loved it since. The first time I ever heard a musical theatre song preformed by actual performers, it was at the park's Christmas show. That song was Journey to the Past. At the time I was a season pass holder there. I had my passes for 5 to 6 years and took it really hard when Covid closed the park for a year and when it did reopen, I did not return. But, tonight, I am returning to Hersheypark as a season pass holder once more. And, after, I am heading to the Hershey Theatre to hear Journey to the Past once more, but this time, preformed by the professional cast of the Anastasia National Tour! Will I cry tonight? Most definitely. So, anyways, enjoy this chapter!!!!)
"Jack, I need to get up." I groaned, pressing the bedsheets to me to stay covered as he held me pressed against him from behind, kissing my neck gently.
"Stay a little longa'." He smirked.
"I've stayed here for 4 days! My parents are gonna figure it out eventually that I am not at Brienna and Darcy's." I giggled softly.
"4 days is too short." He groaned, pulling away to lay on his back.
I sighed and rolled over to face him, "I know, but I need to go."
He sighed, "Don't."
"What?"
"Don't go. Stay 'ere. Live 'ere with me." He said.
"Jack!" I giggled, thinking this was a joke.
"I ain't kiddin', Ace." He said.
I smiled very softly, "Oh... Jack, I wish I could. I do with all my heart, but you know I can't. Father won't let me live with you till we're married. Hell, he doesn't even know we're together again."
"So marry me. Tell ya Fatha'. C'mon, Ace, let's get married, have our life da way wes' want it." He said.
"Fine... Jack, I'll marry you."
"Katie!!!" Conni yelled as she jumped on my bed.
I jumped up, letting out a gasp, "Conni! Get off her!" Edith said, picking her up off me.
I sighed, "W-What happened?" I asked.
"You slept in like the whole day." Edith said.
"Mommy sent us up to wake you up so you can get ready!" Conni said.
"Are you okay?" Edith asked.
"Yeah." I muttered, rubbing my eyes.
"Conni, go downstairs and send Isabelle up." Edith said.
"Okay!" She smiled.
Conni quickly hugged me very tightly before jumping off my bed. She made the door fly open before running down the hall. I giggled softly, watching her leave as I felt Edith's stare on me, "So, the truth?" She asked.
"Huh?"
"Oh, come on, Katherine, you come home late in the middle of the night after spending 3 days at the Reids." She said, making air quotes, "What's up with you and Jack?"
