(I have casually wrote ahead a little too much, so I'm going to start publishing twice a week! So, yeah! Enjoy!)

I began to toss, sweating a little. When my eyes opened, I saw a strange man looking over me. I quickly jumped back, "Who the hell are you!?" I asked, looking around to see I was home in bed.

"Katherine, it's okay." Vanessa said, grabbing my hand, "This is Doctor Baker."

I looked at him, still shaky, "Ms. Pulitzer, it's okay. I'm here to help." He said. I nodded as Vanessa held me close, "I just need to know any health issues you have had in the past. Mental or physical." He asked.

I hesitated. Does mental health require diagnoses to actually have it? It would make no sense, I know how I feel and should just be able to say it, but I'm scared. I'm also unsure, "No. Right, Kath?" Vanessa asked me. I simply nodded.

Doctor Baker nodded and looked me over as footsteps ran down, "Ness! Did she wake up yet?" Sara asked, running down, Davey and Les following her.

"Just did." Vanessa smiled softly.

Sara ran over, "Thank God. We were worried sick. I found some of the boys, the weird, tall, red head one is looking for Jack." She said, sitting next to me.

"No, I don't want Jack to worry." I said.

"Well, he should. You've been out for almost 3 hours." Vanessa said.

"3? What about work!?" I asked.

"I had Cynthia stay so I can stay with you." She said.

I nodded, "Is there anything wrong, Doctor?" Sara asked.

"Nothing that I am seeing. I did take a few tests. Most of them will take a day or two to get back, till then, I ask for her to take it easy. No work, just the basic house work here and there and get lots of rest. Time is the best medicine especially for things so hard to diagnose." He explained.

"I'll help her with chores." Sara said.

"I can manage the restaurant for a few days." Vanessa said.

"What can we do to help?" Davey asked.

"You, and all the boys, can give her some space. Try to be quieter and helpful." He said.

"Thank you, Doctor." Davey said.

He nodded, "I'll have results on those test results in a day or two."

We nodded as he grabbed his bag and left up the stairs.

'A day or two'. Well, a day or two turned to three, then finally four. I have been sitting around the lodge doing nothing for 4 whole days! Sara gets to all the housework before me, Vanessa is somehow managing to hold down the restaurant by herself, and Jack... Oh, Jack.

That night, after the doctor left, Race had found Jack and brought him home to me. He was so worried. He kept saying how he knew something was wrong and how guilty he felt for letting me go that day. Crutchie and Sara have been helping me the most.

Crutchie stays with me and talks, then will fold laundry or something easier like that with me. Sara runs around the lodge like a crazy person, making sure everything is perfect. At first, I was too nervous on waiting on those test results - Which Jack does not know about since it will make him worry more - to sleep, but as soon as Davey leant Sara one of his old medical books, and she would stay up late reading them to me, I found it very easy to sleep. Her and Davey - Smartasses they are - thought they could figure out what's wrong with me before the doctors could.
