(I am board waiting for dance class, entertain me with comments🙃)

The next morning I woke up, my head leaning against a sandbag. Jack and I were covered by some old blankets and I was wearing his shirt. I turned to look at him and sighed softly. I did it again. Was I going to try to make it the last time and rid my distraction of him? Nope. He still made me feel amazing. Like a real woman.

I brushed his messy hair out of his face and smiled softly. His eyes fluttered open and he smirked at me, pulling me close and kissing me deeply. I giggled softly into the kiss, and smiled wide. About a minute later, we pulled apart and smiled at each other.

"Mornin'." He smirked.

"Morning." I smiled.

"Ise can't believe wes' stayed 'ere da whole night." He chuckled.

"I know." I giggled, "Is Medda gonna be made?"

"She don't gotta know." He chuckled softly, sitting up and leaning against the wall. I laid down so my head would be in his lap. He ran a hand though my hair and smirked, "Ready ta go back ta da lodge?" He asked.

"As I'll ever be." I sighed. I'm not going to lie, I am actually really scared.

Jack looked and sighed, having me look at him, "Nobody's gonna be mad at ya." He said.

I nodded, "If the leader says so."

He smirked softly, "I really ain't been a leada' so much lately." He said.

"You may think that, but I bet they still look at you that way." I said.

Jack smirked and nodded, "C'mon, let's get dressed." He said, getting up and grabbing his pants.

I nodded and blushed softly. I still remember our first time and how awkward we were after, I feel like this might match the awkwardness. At least on my part. Jack seemed completely unphased, yet I felt as if I would swoon.

I grabbed my undergarments, putting them back on, but struggling with the corset. By this point, Jack was just fully dressed in a black button up and gray vest over top. He had his gray pants on and his cap was shadowing over his eyes.

He saw me struggling to tie my corset and chuckled softly. He put away his painting supplies from the night before, then walked over to me. He took the strings from my hands and tightened it for me, tying it up. I blushed softly. When he was done, his hands rested on my shoulders. We stood in a comfortable silence for a few minutes, just enjoying this moment.

It was comfortable, till it became awkward. I turned and looked at him, my cheeks still blushing a bright red. "How did you become so good at tying up a corset?" I giggled softly but awkwardly.

He chuckled, "Ise date ya."

We stared at each other even more awkwardly now, "Dated." He corrected himself.

I nodded and went to get my blouse and skirt on. Jack went back to cleaning up everything we left out the night before, and once I was fully dressed I got my coat on and my things together. Jack looked at me from across the stage, "Ready ta go?" He asked.

"Yeah." I said, walking over, "Where's your coat?"

"Ise don't got one." He said.

"Jack! It's 18 degrees out!" I said.

"And, da lodge is only a half hour away." He said.

"You're going to get sick." I said.

"Ise don't get sick." He said.

I rolled my eyes, "You are such a stubborn boy." I muttered, before going to leave.

I could practically feel Jack's eye roll as I walked ahead of him. We made our way to the door and out into the streets of Manhattan. Jack locked up the theatre and we began to walk back downtown. It was freezing out, and Jack kept shivering the whole time, "Are you okay?" I asked.
