This chapter is in loving memory of Shadow. Your trip across the rainbow bridge was too soon. <3

(THE DAY IS FINALLY HERE!!! Not only is it chapter 100 but also the day of our favorite couple, our OTP - Katherine and Jack's wedding!!!! It feels great to start back up with this series on such a high note because we all know how these two can be lol.)

(UPDATE: Once I FINALLY finished this one, it's total word count is at, 10,403. This should really be 2 or 3 parts but then it just kinda takes away from the whole 100 chapter thing lol. ANYWAYS - good luck getting through this without tissues!)

"Dum, dum, da dum. Dum, dum, da dum!" I was awoken with the sound of Edith's horrendous humming. I groaned softly and glanced at her, "What could you possibly want so early in the morning, Edith?" I asked, practically throwing my face into a pillow. "Silly, silly, dear sister. It was not me who kept you out until nearly 2AM last night," she smirked, "Have you forgotten what day it is?"

"Thursday?"

"It is Sunday," she replied, "But most importantly, your wedding day, alas!"

"Ah, yes, my wedding day," I muttered, rolling over to another pillow. As I faced the ceiling, my eyes opened wide before I quickly shot up, "My wedding day!"

"Yes," she grinned.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"8AM, so we must hurry," she replied.

I nodded, quickly throwing my covers aside and standing. I first went to the restroom, where Isabelle had already drawn a warm bath with bubbles and lavender. It was a peaceful few minutes of just lying there, thinking of the next few hours, the next few days... my whole lifetime of happiness ahead. I was soon greeted by Isabelle once again, this time my robe in hand. She helped me out and into my beautiful white silk robe that Mother had just bought me, "You must be excited, Ms. Pulitzer," she said, helping me secure the fabric over my shoulders.

"I could not attempt to put it in words, how excited I am," I smiled as I tied a perfect bow in the front.

"I am happy for you," she smiled, "And, I am happy to be your Lady's Maid in your new home with Mr. Kelly,"

I smiled, "I am happy you accepted to come with me,"

"How could I not? We practically grew up together, I 10 and you 8 when my mother began working here. It may be inappropriate to say, but dare I say it anyways, you are my oldest and quite frankly my only friend, Ms. Pulitzer," Isabella smiled shyly.

I smiled and turned to her, "In our new household, you will no longer call me 'madame' or 'Ms. Pulitzer' or even 'Mrs. Kelly' - though I do love the sound of that - I will simply be Katherine to you, my friend,"

"But, it would be improper," she said.

"This is a household for a new age, Isabelle," I grinned, "Please, call me Katherine,"

Isabelle smiled and nodded, "Yes, Katherine," I smiled and hugged her, a few tears escaping my eyes. It must just be the idea of getting married or perhaps my hormones that are causing me to feel such an overwhelming string of emotions all day. "Come along, you mustn't be late today of all days," she said before leading me out and into the hall. Once we were trudging down the hall and towards my room, I heard a familiar voice ring out from downstairs, "Mrs. Pulitza', please, Ise just wanna talk ta 'er," Jack begged.

"Mr. Kelly," Mother chuckled softly, "it is bad luck to see the bride before the wedding,"

I quickly strayed from Isabelle's lead and ran down the steps, where Conni, Edith and Joey were all watching the commotion from the stairs. "Is that her wedding gown?" Conni asked, pointing to me as I ran past, "No, silly. That's her robe," Joey said as he held our little sister close. I soon approached the door from behind mother, "Mother, don't you know that is an outdated tradition made over a hundred years ago so the bride and, or groom won't run from the alter," I said, "and believe me, there is no way I am running from Mr. Kelly today,"
