"Kath, c'mon!" Bernard yelled but in a hushed tone as we ran through the prison, Brienna, Davey and I following.

While Bernard was able to distract Steven, the three of us ran past behind them and down the hall. I showed Davey and Brienna to where Jack was. When we reached the end of the hall, looking into Jack's cell, we saw him curled up in the corner, shaking. Though he looked horrible, he managed to smirk as stumbled over to us. He pulled me close through the bars and kissed me deeply only for me to pull away seconds later, "Jack, you're freezing." I said.

"But burning." Brienna sighed, feeling his forehead.

"Theyse really 'ere?" Jack asked, looking at Davey and Brienna.

"Yeah. They really are." I smiled softly, "Jack, we figured it all out. Some guys that work here have been hiding the truth, but we figured it out,"

"Sons of bitches." He mumbled weakly, slowly falling against the bars to the floor.

"Yeah, sons of bitches." I muttered, "Darcy is on his way with a carriage. We're gonna get you out of here with the governor's help. Just hold out for a few more hours."

"Move it." A guard said, pushing past us and unlocking Jack's cell.

"What are you doing?" Davey asked.

"Execution time." The one muttered.

"What? No." Brienna said.

"No. He still has a week!" I cried, "Please, don't do this!"

"Orders, lady." The one spat as they dragged Jack out of the cell and down the hall.

"Ace." Jack muttered as they took him off.

"No. No! Please, don't do this!" I sobbed, trying to chase them but Davey and Brienna held me back, "Please, no! No! No!"

"No!" I shouted, shooting up out of Darcy's arms as our wagon drove along the Hudson while the sun set. We must've been driving for nearly 14 hours now.

Darcy was quick to pull me back into his arms and shush me as I sobbed while Bernard jumped from the front seat into the bed to be next to us and Davey glanced back while trying to keep an eye on the road. After I looked around at the guys, I sighed and muttered, "Jack?"

"Still alive. Back at Sing Sing." Bernard said.

"Same nightmare?" Darcy asked.

I nodded, "It's like an alternate ending? It's last night, but every time Jack gets dragged away." I mumbled.

"It's just a nightmare." He said.

"We saw him last night. Staying in his cell while we left." Bernard said.

I nodded, looking over the wagon wall to see the mansion on the other side of the river, "What time is it?" I asked.

"Nearly 9." Darcy said.

"How long has it been?" I asked.

"13 and a half hours." Bernard groaned.

"At least we're almost there." Davey said.

We all nodded, watching the water as we crossed the bridge. It wasn't till now that I felt truly pregnant. I guess the motion from the ride is not my best friend. I ended up not enjoying the view and hiding my face in Darcy's chest. It was clear he understood, since he stroked my hair and kissed the top of my head. If having a child is so great, I don't understand why it must be so painful leading up to one.

Not long after crossing the bridge, the sun completely gone, the wagon stopped. I slowly looked up to see the shining lights of the mansion. I sighed softly as Davey and Bernard hopped out. They both grabbed one of my hands and helped me down so Darcy could stand up and get out. However, when my feet touched the ground, I felt like the world was spinning, quickly falling into Bernard's arms, "Kath, are you sure you can do this?" Davey asked.
