Summary: After Sadie leaves you home alone for a few hours, you start to experience an anxiety attack.

Warning ⚠️: mentions of anxiety and anxiety attacks.
---------------
"Y/n?" You heard Sadie calling you from downstairs, so you get up from your desk and go down to see her.

"Yeah?" You call from down the hall as you go to find her.

"Ok, Love I need to go for a few hours. They need me on set really quick, but I'll be back soon, okay?" Sadie knew about your anxiety, so she always made sure to tell you when she was leaving and what time she would be getting home.

"When will you be home?" You look at her, slightly nervous.

"Hopefully by 9. I'll try my best to be home before then, okay?" She put her hands on your shoulders as you looked at her, still nervous about the fact she was leaving.

You started to pick at your skin on your hands (a habit you got into because of your anxiety). Sadie noticed this and put her hands in yours.

"Hey, look at me," she says, making you look into her eyes.

"It's gonna be okay. I won't be gone too long."

You squeezed her hands. "Okay."

"You gonna be okay?" You could tell she was definitely concerned.

"Yeah. Yeah I'll be fine."

"Okay. I love you." She gives you a quick peck to your lips.

"I love you too, Sades. Have fun."

--------

After she left, you went back upstairs to draw to try to keep your mind off of Sadie. Every once in a while you would bite your nails or pick at your skin, but for the most part, you stayed pretty calm.

That was until, Sadie called. Every time she was gone and she called, your mind rushed with thoughts. Did she get in an accident? Is she hurt? Is she dying right now and I'm not with her? Your hands started to sweat as you answered the phone.

"Sadie? What's wrong?"

"Nothing, Love. Nothing's wrong." You loved hearing her voice, even if it was over the phone. "Can you just make sure to feed the dog?"

"Oh, uh- yeah. Yeah I can do that."

"Okay, thank you. How are you doing?"

"Yeah- I'm um- I'm fine."

"Are you sure? You don't sound too good right now."

"Y-yeah I'm sure. Just a headache."

"Okay. The Asprin is above the sink in the bathroom if you need some."

"Okay, thanks."

"Of course. I have to go now, okay?"

"Okay."

"Alright I'll call you soon. I love you!"

"I love you too, Sades. Bye."

"Bye."

After she hung up, you felt a litte more relieved knowing she was okay. Your breath was still a little shaky, but you calmed yourself with the breathing practices Sadie taught you. In for 5. Hold for 5. Out for 5.

You went downstairs to go feed your dog Koda. As much as you love him, an extremely energetic and loud husky doesn't work the best as an emotional support animal for you. You and Sadie have been looking into getting a golden retriever for you as an emotional support dog.

After Koda was fed, you go back upstairs and decide to try to sleep to get your mind off of everything.
