"Dream, have you seen my shoes?" Sapnap asked as he frantically searched the room.

"I think they were in the hallway closet?"
George answered who happened to be walking by.

The three had be living together for while now, and this was a common situation. Someone would loose something, and they'd complain and blame each other till it was found.

Nonetheless it always worked out. The three boys being able to enjoy each other's company.

Now that dream had done his face reveal, they could go out more. Actually get to see and do things.

It sounds problem-less, but there was one thing. Just a minor detail that kept the three from truly enjoying their time together.

Dream had a large birthmark on one of his cheekbones.

It wasn't ugly, nor that prominent, but the blonde hated it with all his life.
It was only slightly lighter than his usual skin tone, and honestly beautiful.
Being placed over his eye, resembling a cow print of some sort.

It made him unique and indifferent. And you honestly couldn't really see it, unless you were close.

Dream despised it. Ever since birth.
He'd been bullied and taunted for it all his life and wasn't about have a change of heart suddenly.

It caused him to want to spend more time in his house, away from people who'd walk by and stare.
He would always push Sapnap and George to go and do things, while he stayed.

At first, they didn't want to. But as time went on, Dream only became more and more insecure about it.

People on twitter weren't helping either.
Saying he looked like he had been burnt, or that he looked dirty and gross.

It made him start buying makeup. He hated putting it on, and the feeling of let down when he took it off.
He was even looking into getting a tattoo to cover it.

George thought it was beautiful, so did sapnap. They always encouraged him to show it off in public, but he never listened.
Only seeing flaws in face.

He had never once in his, seen himself as beautiful. Someone would tell him one thousand times he's perfect, but one negative comment and it'd be forgotten.

Dream sat in his desk chair. He was awaiting his boyfriend, George, to come back; along with Sapnap.

The two had gone to the mall, and had tried to convince Dream to go with them. They tried everything. Bribing, encouraging, and overall begging.

The reason for their desperation, was dreams mental health. It had been spiraling, and he was becoming more and more secluded.
His birthmark was taking a bigger tole on him, than it had in his entire life.

Dream was scrolling through the comments on his face reveal. It was a horrible idea, and he knew it.
Hundreds of people questioning the large patch on his skin. Some were thinking it was beautiful, but the majority was finding it to be distracting. As it was the first thing they'd seen on his face.

The blondes eyes were glossing over the more he read. The father down he scrolled, the more blunt they got. From picking apart his personality, to insulting the mark.

Tears slipped down as he stared at himself. He could see the awful image of his face, reflecting off the black screen, being his monitor.

Knowing that he couldn't do anything to 'fix' the way the birth mark stood out, was petrifying.
There was nothing he could do to change that. The feeling of not being in control washing over him.
