Dream was sat in his office. Scrolling on his computer, and zoned out.

Patches was on his lap, and letting out soft purrs every once and awhile. Simply relaxing and having a nap.

George was downstairs watching tv. Dream could hear it from his office, and occasionally listened to it.

He'd been working more than usual. No particular reason, he was just just motivated.
Working always took him ages. Twice as long as any other person.

He honestly wouldn't wish dyslexia on his worst enemy. It made pretty much any job a chore, as most jobs have a reading aspect of some sort.

When he did the subtitles to his videos, he always had to get George to check them over. Sometimes the brunette would end up doing them himself because of how many spelling mistakes there were.

Coding could be even worse. The letters and numbers jumbling together made mistakes a given. He loved coding, so he was willing to spend hours checking it over.

He was going to get an editor, but he liked the way his videos flowed on his channel. Trusting himself more than an editor ever could.

But as the words on his screen began to make less and less sense, Dream was getting frustrated. His usual patience dwindling fast.

If he stayed sat at his desk any longer, he'd probably flip it over. Deciding to take a quick break and just do something else for a minute.

Patches was off his lap soon enough, so he got up. Mindlessly heading to the living room.

Socked feet met cold wood floors. Dream wondering if heated floors were something he should invest in.

His mind was fuzzy as he made it down the stairs. Getting more sleepy as for each step he went down.

As he approached the living room, he heard the sound of his boyfriends voice.

"Dream?" George said quietly.

Dream immediately went to him. Craving some time quality time with George.

"Why are you still up, love?" George asked. Holding his arms out for Dream to fall into.

Giving a confused look, Dream accepted the hug. Flopping into George who was sitting on the couch.

Dream just made a mumbly sound for an answer. George scoffing at beginning to pet his hair.

"It's almost two in the morning, you should sleep darling," George cooed. Giving Dream little tender kisses on his hair. Feeling how fluffy it felt against his face.

"I'm working still," he groaned into George's chest. Not wanting to have to sit back in his computer chair.

George lightly scratched at the roots of dreams hair. Massaging, and tenderly caring for him.

"I'm gonna make a mug cake," dream suddenly blurted. Jumping from George's arms to head to their kitchen.

"What?" George said in surprise. Genuinely baffled by dreams sudden motivation.

Even so, he followed Dream to the kitchen. Scoffing in annoyance at seeing dishes left out from Sapnap.

"When did you eat last?" George asked mindlessly. Simply checking up to see if Dream was eating properly.
