Prompt: Dream can't help but ramble, but George is always there to listen

Words: 1323

Sapnaps head was spinning. Practically sleeping from boredom.
Dream was talking, as usual. His normal babbling filling his mind.

The snow piled up by their house, covering trees and driveways. Drowning out the sound of cars driving by.

Eventually, Sapnap had to take a break. He couldn't sit and listen to anymore theories or facts.
Dream was his best friend, but God. Sometimes he could really get on his nerves.

Being obvious to Sapnaps boredom, dream continued to ramble. Telling him all about his favourite thing.

He loved the galaxy. The planets, and possibility of other life. Absolutely adoring the way the stars glistened, and shined. The planets gravity, and even the moons that revolved around each planet.

"Did you know that Jupiter has eighty moons!" Dream gleamed happily.

Sapnap typed, while nodded. Dismissing dreams chatter. Hoping he'd just shut up.
The video he was editing should have been done hours ago, but dreams voice distracted him.

"Yes! Now please let me work!" Sapnap snapped. Wiping the smile off dreams face.

Immediately, Dream stopped taking. Understanding how he may be coming across as annoying.
He was just excited. Not usually getting the chance to talk about hyperfixations.

It made him sad to know he was annoying Sapnap. It was clear he was busy, but he missed the sign to stop. Getting carried away with interest.

Nodding, he quietly left the room. Hearing Sapnap sigh thankfully. Like he was happy he was gone. It hurt his heart to know the entire time he was talking, Sapnap was tuning him out.

Shutting Sapnaps door, Dream groaned. Knowing he should have been more aware of his surroundings.

He could hear George in his room, deciding to go for affection. He knew George would give him attention, and listen to him.
Maybe it was because he was his boyfriend, and he was supposed to always listen. But he knew George was the kind of person to naturally acknowledge interests. Always ready to sit and really listen to his babbles.

When he reached George's room, the brunette was hanging a shirt on a hanger. Setting it in his closet.

George smiled at seeing dreams presence. Wondering why he looked so disgruntled.
"What's up?" George asked nonchalantly.

Shrugging, Dream flopped on the bed. Looking at the ceiling. Raising his hands in the air to look at them. Admiring the contrast of light from his skin, and the roof.

Suddenly, he felt George reach his hand to grab his. Intertwining their fingers, as he sat beside Dream. Admiring the gold promise ring he'd boughten him. Loving how Dream never wanted to take it off.

"I wonder if gold is on any other planets" George wondered. Hoping Dream would catch on, and tell him about the different galaxies.

He just really wanted to hear dreams voice. Especially when he spoke about something he loved.
The passion in his voice was adorable, and he always looked so happy.

Green eyes perked up, while dream sat up a bit. Getting ready to explain to George the details on his question.

"There's actually an asteroid that has enough gold and other metals to make everyone on Earth a multibillionaire" dream smiled.
