George had been dating Dream for a few months now. It'd aways been fun, and they hadn't had any fights. It was a calm, and steady a relationship he hoped would last.

Even before he'd dated Dream, he'd noticed that dream was more clumsier then usual. At first he thought it was because he was nervous, but it was constant.

Bumping into things, or tripping on random items was a daily occurrence. The brunette had even taken Dream for stitches once or twice.

It was always stressful knowing dream would inevitably get hurt. George always trying to do his best to prevent it, or make him feel better after. Even so, the anxiety always got to him.

The day was rainy but calm. George was filled with contentment, as he carefully chopped vegetables.

George had recently come into habit of cooking. He loved cooking for Dream, and seeing his face when he tried the food. Always being expression-full.

Dream wandered into the living room, and George could see him from the counter. Being able to keep an eye on him incase he got hurt.

As George was setting the vegetables aside, he briefly saw Dream get up from his spot on the couch. The brunette immediately scanned the room to see where he went.

"Can I help you?" Dream smiled happily. Reaching for the knife George used to cut the vegetables.

His happy face made George's heart warm. Looking so excited to spend time with George, and help him.

But as he grabbed the knife, Dream accidentally reached for the wrong side. Grabbing the sharp end on accident.

Immediately retracting his hand, he winced. Seeing a sliver of blood fall from a small wound.

"You okay? Do you need a bandaid?" George frantically babbled. Reaching for dreams cut to inspect it.

Dream mumbled an apology for causing issues, as George ran water over his finger. Wrapping it in a bandaid before giving it a quick kiss to make dream laugh.

Despite George's skepticism of dreams ability to help, he let him stay anyway. Knowing dream always had good intentions.

"Try and be more careful, alright?" He said kindly, as he gave Dream the task of cracking eggs.

"Okay, so you take this—" George started. Holding dreams hand to show him how to whisk the eggs. "Got it?" He giggled.

Dream had the prettiest smile on his face. Genuine happiness burning at his core from being a help to his boyfriend.

George took his mind of dream for moments to began to wash a few more vegetables. Humming to himself quietly.

George couldn't really blame Dream for his clumsiness, but wished he'd be more aware of his surroundings. The stress of looking after dream was occasionally overwhelming.

Suddenly, he heard a clank. The sound of glass hitting the tiles echoed through the modern kitchen.

Whipping his head to see, George frowned when he realized what happened.
