George gently pulled the door to his boyfriends bedroom. Having the intention to not scare him as he walked in.

Dream was sitting at his desk, scrolling through Amazon prime. The brunette always felt pitiful when looking at the other. Knowing that he would never truly experience sound.

Sure, he had his cochlear implant, but it could only do so much. He'd never truly speak without a the slight deaf accent on his words.
But for some reason, Dream was fine with that.
It had always been that way for him, therefor there was nothing to miss. Just hopeless and adoring wonders.

George carefully tapped Dream on the shoulder, flashing a guilty smile when dream flinched; being startled.

"Want to watch a movie with me?" George signed, while pronouncing each word a little clearer. Just trying his best to make Dream feel normal.

Dream himself always found it sweet that  George learned to sign for him. Especially since he could hear a little better after getting his cochlear implant.

The blonde nodded and grabbed George's hand. Expecting George to lead him to the tv. Which he did, of course.

Dream followed like how a duckling would follow its mother, just basking in the fact he was with George.

"What movie?" Dream spoke.

"I love your voice"

The blonde could hear, but still found it easier to read lips. The implant wasn't a cure for being deaf, though it helped greatly.

Dream never really liked how his voice sounded. After growing up without hearing it, then suddenly hearing, was substantial.

He sounded deaf. George called it cute, and sweet, thousands of times. Yet every time he re-uttered  the  words, it made a glee of happiness fling through him.

George began to babble on about the movie, while subconsciously signing parts. It had become muscle memory to do so.

The two sat down, and prepared the movie. Dream cuddled up into George's side, while eating some popcorn out of a bowl.

George spent a moment patting dreams hair, and turning on the subtitles for him.

Pale fingers traveling through dirty blonde hair. Each tug at his curls Dream grew more and more sleepy. The film hadn't even started, and he was already falling asleep.
Blaming his comforting boyfriend for his tiredness.

"No way you're already falling asleep" George groaned. Being careful to not be too loud, as dreams ears were resting close to his chin and mouth.

The blonde giggled, and nuzzled more into George. Hearing the music to to intro.

"Fine, I suppose I'll let you sleep through it"

Dream felt himself begin to nod off. Eyes fluttering closed, ever so gently. Though he had them open long enough so his green irises could see the brunette sign an "I love you"

That was the last push he needed to drift off into sleep. No worries, or stress. Just George.
