Quiet white noise shuttered through the airy wind, flurring into the peaceful house. Three boys were sound asleep, all relaxing into the touch of rest.

Complete opposite to what relished in a blonde boys mind.

George, Sapnap, and Dream were all sharing a small condo. They had rented one for their weekend away. Sort of a boys trip before they all announced they had met up.

They had flown to where there was just a severe snowstorm. Wanting to go and see the fully cold weather, and relax beforehand.

Now here they were. First night in the condo. The condo building was placed just before a massive ski resort.

George slept soundly in his own room, Sapnap and Dream shared a bedroom with two queen beds. It was small, yet it got the job done.

Sapnap was dead sleep, resting peacefully. That was until Dream started to tussle in the sheets.

Unbeknownst to sleepy Sapnap, Dream was having a nightmare. He was dreaming about George not existing.
——
Just a long fever dream he'd wake up from. In his slumber, he was fighting away George leaving. Sobbing in sleep, and crying back for his boyfriend.

He'd give anything to see George's deep chocolate eyes, or fletches of heaven he was in. Only fearing his own mind, while George slept only a door away.

Eventually the night terror became overwhelming. All his senses gone, just him longing for George. The only one he wanted to see terribly.
——-

The blonde shot up from his bed. Completely being shaken awake. He let out a quiet-ish shriek. Screaming for George to somehow appear in front of him.

Of course, George was fine. He was still soundly resting. Dream was still delusional from his terribly realistic nightmare, that he couldn't recall if he was with George. If George was even his boyfriend, or even where he was.

He couldn't register Sapnap was sleeping, or even real.

He immediately started sobbing. He thought he was alone, and had no idea where he was. Dream shot up, and sprinted around the condo again. Looking to see if he could find George. Hoping this wasn't another dream, or different reality.

He got to George's door, and basically slammed it open.
The sound woke up George, as he groaned. Dream recognized the sound almost too quickly. Scurrying towards where the sound came from.

When he saw George trying to adjust his eyes to the brightness, he started to sob harder. Not just little tears, but heaps of water flowing down.

"GEORGE! GEORGE!"

He was literally screaming. The neighbouring condos probably could hear.

"What? Dream? Go away"

Dream cried harder into his hands. He let his arms wander to grab George's shoulders. Shaking him, just wanting to see if he was real.

The poor blonde being flooded with derealization. George soon noticed how his boyfriend looked mental. Dream looked confused and extremely scared.

"Baby? What's wrong, why are you yelling"

"Are you real? What's going on! WHERE AM I?"

George didn't respond immediately. He was taking a couple moments to process.
Dream was fully screaming. Shrieking at the top of his lungs.

"HELP PLEASE! Please George help me!"

George was about to speak up for Dream, when Sapnap approached the doorframe. He was going to come in and somehow get his friend to calm down. Instead, George gave
Him a look of, 'I'll handle it"

Sapnap walked away, towards the kitchen to at least get Dream some water.

"Calm down, you're okay"

"NO! NO! I don't know what's real!!"

"Dream, calm down its okay, I'm real"

The blonde still loudly sobbed, not knowing how to express how he felt. He felt like he was in another world. Derealization making his mind sputter, and deteriorate.

He just kept grabbing at the blankets around his boyfriend, while waterfalls of salty water fell from his eyes.

"What's going on!? Where am I-"

"Baby, it's alright. We're at our condo remember? On our trip before announcing we met up"

Eventually he had to take a break. He was practically yelling for at least fifteen minutes now, and was tired. Dreams crying didn't cease when George sat him on the bed, holding him. Rubbing his back while whispering sweet words and occasional 'shhh' sounds.

"I'm scared"

George didn't really know what to do. He was not planning on Dream having a mental breakdown on his bed, but was still trying to process everything.

"Why? What happened"

"I- I don't know... I keep waking up thinking I'm awake but I'm actually still sleeping, and I can't tell what's real- so I thought I lost you.."

George listened to dreams quiet mumbles, trying to calm him down or give him any advice.

"Bad nightmares?"

The blond nodded while cuddling into George more. He was still trying to grasp the fact George wasn't lost in a night terror.

The brunette Patiently waited for Dream to fully relax. To stop crying, and realize that nothing was gone.

He let dream feel the sleeves of his hoodie, and touch to fabric of the items around him.

"If your scared, just come and wake me up, Try not to scream too much, alright? I'll always help you"

The younger nodded while George wiped the tears from his eyes. Now noticing Sapnap walking into the room.

"You alright, man?"
He said while rubbing dreams shoulder.

George answered for him, though the blonde not quite catching what he said.
Whatever George did say, made him smile and leave. Placing the water in dreams hands before walking back to bed.

"Have some water, so you don't get a headache"

George guided dreams hands, so he took a small sip. Making sure he actually swallowed it.

"Want to sleep now?"

"I don't want to wake up with another nightmare.."

"It will be fine, I'll make sure nothing happens to you, and I'll be here when you wake up"

George felt Dream tuck in more. Letting his head rest on his chest, and hugging onto his middle. Feeling the rise of his chest, and the fall moments later.

Dream was still paranoid somehow he'd wake up, and George would be gone. He was scared he'd wake up not knowing what reality he was in. Yet somehow, he didn't worry.

Sure, he was scared, but let himself take it. Hoping that his mind would put him at ease. At least until the sun rose.
