Prompt: (requested) George helping dream with his disabilities

George knocked on the door gently. Walking in moments later, and grinning at his boyfriend.

Dream was sat in his desk chair, with a blanket over his lap, and a sage sweater was thrown over him. Keeping him warm from the chilly weather that had sprung the night prior.

Besides, Dream didn't often wear short sleeves unless it was very hot. Which was another reason they moved away from Florida.

Dream had damaged nerves, which meant he'd scar very easily. Constantly getting bruises, and large cuts on him from barely any touch.

For example, he'd accidentally walked into their dining table when the lights were out. The impact from the table made a massive gauge in his hip. George having to take him to the hospital for Stiches.

He'd been born too early, which was caused all his medical disabilities. Along with a few mental ones that didn't affect his day-to-day life that often.
But he did have to have feeding tube, which was one of his more annoying conditions.

It wasn't just his nerves, but his bones too. He had Osteoporosis which meant his bones broke extremely easily.

They'd moved away from Florida because the hot weather was too unbearable for Dream. As he could only wear thicker clothes as the fabric protected his skin better then a t-shirt could.

They'd also moved because of the health care in America. It was expensive, and it was beginning to add up.
Originally, they'd decided George's old town in Britain would be fine. But complications with dreams visa stopped that plan quickly.

They were stuck for awhile in pure agony, that left Dream feeling awful.
George moved here for him. And he was the reason George would have to move again, and to a completely different place.

One of the only places Dreams visa was accepted was Canada.
It was not ideal, but if it meant dreams life wouldn't be so stressful and painful, then so be it.

As time went, they'd begun to really enjoy the country.
Dream could go outside much easier, as the cold weather forced him to layer. Protecting his bones, and skin from accidentally scraping something.

His life was more efficient, and he felt like he could really start to live.
He could go out to dinner with George, throw snow at each other in the winter, go shopping without the fear of bruises or scars, and even take photos with fans.

He was finally living after what felt like decades.

George had stuck with him through it all.
The denied visas, the never ending diagnoses, the bottles of medication that stacked their medicine cabinet, and he was sure George would never leave him.

But as George smiled so earnestly at him, he couldn't help but blush.
George took the blanket off dream, and helped him stand. Making sure he wouldn't hit the desk, or his foot on the chair.

In fact, their furniture had been sanded on sharp corners. So Dream wouldn't find himself if the hospital waiting room, for yet another round of stitches.

"How we feeling?" George asked nicely. Making light small talk while he walked Dream to the bathroom.

Usually, when they went out Dream would have a cane. He couldn't walk properly so he needed to have something supporting him.

George was very happy to be that for him. Enjoying walking dream between rooms.
Even if sometimes it was annoying to get up, seeing dreams lovely face as he walked with him always made it worth it.

Even if it was to just walk him to the bathroom, he adored dreams company.

As Dream rambled about how he was feeling, George lead him to the bathroom. Sitting him down on the chair they'd set by the counter so he wouldn't have to stand when he brushed his teeth.

"I know you don't like this, but we need to change your tube" George sighed. Fumbling around with the contents in a drawer.

Groaning Dream dramatically threw his hands in the air. Earning a laugh from George.

"I know, I'll be quick" George sighed.

Dream always envied George.
The way he could run, or jump. Or eat whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted. He could play sports, and go skating.

George was like a superhero to him.

George lifted dreams shirt, so his stomach was exposed. Cleaning off the skin surrounding the insert to the feeding tube. Admiring the soft and slight pudginess to his boyfriend.

"Deep breath" George instructed. Gently pulling the insert out from dreams stomach. Grimacing at the small hole it left.

He smiled and talked to Dream. Doing his best to distract the other as he prepared a new insert.
When he did finish, Dream took another deep breath as he pushed it back in. Very gently so Dream wouldn't feel to discomforted.

"Okay, now for the hard part" George sheepishly smiled. Watching his boyfriend furrow his eyebrows and groan.

George let dream close his eyes as he very carefully passed the tube through dreams nose.

"Take a sip, I need to put it past your throat" George said reassuringly.

George handed a cup of water, as Dream sipped the straw. Slowly pushing the tube past his throat and to his stomach.

Dreams face twisted from the discomfort. Reaching unknowingly for the brunettes hand.

"Good job, baby. You're almost done" George grinned. Taking out the Guide-wire, and giving a light kiss to dreams forehead.

Dream sighed when he realized it was over. Being thankful he wouldn't have to change it for another three or so months.

"I bought you some new stickers" George giggled. Pulling out yet another book of stickers.
They had so many. Dream absolutely loving to use them instead of the regular tube tape.

He picked out one of a sun, and pressed it on his cheek. The sticker holding the tube tightly against his cheek. Unfortunately, covering up freckles that George adored.

George helped his boyfriend hobble out of the bathroom, and to the living room. Guiding him to sit on the couch, with a heated blanket covering him.

"Chocolate or Strawberry?" George called from the kitchen. Referring to some of the liquid foods he could give to Dream through the tube.

Dream called back his answer, and waited patiently for George to come and sit with him.

George was hungry, but avoided eating in front of his boyfriend if it was possible. Not wanting to rub it in that he could eat, and dream couldn't.

George helped the other connect the tube to the pump, and made sure it was securely in.
Dream began to talk about the show he was watching, and somehow convinced George to watch it with him.

He was always thankful George didn't pity him. He treated him like he was normal, which made Dream overwhelmed with happiness.

He didn't treat Dream like he was infected, or would pass on a disease.
He treated Dream like he was the most important person in the world. Showering him in kisses, and cleaning his cuts that would eventually come.

George made him feel perfect.
