"He's so fine" George half joked.

The two boyfriends were watching a movie. It was a common activity they did, as it was the perfect way cuddle, and get second hand embarrassment from tv characters.

Looking to see who George was talking about, Dream looked visibly confused.

"Who?"

"Him, obviously. I mean look at the guy!" George said playfully.

The blond had to admit, the character George was referring to was gorgeous. He looked like a model, and effortlessly perfect.

He had bright blue eyes, and perfect black hair. Not to mention his body. Hard toned abs, and overall athletic.

But the thing George pointed out specifically, was his skin and body. It was clear, and glowy. No freckles, no acne scars, no nothing. Sickeningly perfect.

George continued to babble on about other topics, but Dream couldn't get the guy out of his head.

George had gone on, and on about him. Talking about how attractive he was, and how it was his ideal type.
And without realizing it, he was comparing Dream to him. And he was the exact opposite.

It broke dreams heart to hear George say he was his type, as he looked nothing like him.
He had dark green eyes, a face littered with freckles, and his body wasn't nearly as fit.

He only wanted George to think he looked nice. Feeling like the other didn't see him as attractive anymore.

When the movie ended, dream went the bathroom, to look over himself.

He looked at the minor pimples on his forehead, frowning at each one. Grimacing at the fact he couldn't get rid of scars that had been on his face since he was teenager. Cursing puberty for each faded acne mark.

But the thing that bothered him the most was his body. He didn't have bulging muscles like the actor did.

his thighs weren't as slim, and his stomach wasn't as flat.
George unintentionally hit a sensitive spot for dream.

Dream had kept one secret from George. Through the whole time they had been dating, and friends. Years locked up and hidden away.

It was the fact he genuinely hated his looks. He hated his hair colour, his lip shape, the way his hands matched his wrists, and his body.

Especially his body.

He'd spent countless nights crying, and throwing up food. Endless loss, with no result.
He never lost enough weight, and he was never thin enough.

It would never be enough.

George did not realize he hurt dreams feelings. It wasn't the intention, he just wanted to point out the attractive actor.

Eventually, Dream gathered himself. Leaving the mirror and self pity, to go back to George.

When he entered the living room, he saw the brunette eating popcorn.
Sitting back down beside him, Dream suddenly felt extremely self conscious.

He thought George would think he was ugly. Looking down, he'd feel his double chin. He didn't care that literally every single person has a double chin when they look down. He only cared that he had one too.
