Prompt: Dream isn't used to being shown love

Short fluff to pass the time

"Could we cuddle?" Dream asked politely.

He was watching George edit a video on the laptop. Watching his finger drag across the trackpad, while softly humming in response.

"Just for a little bit?" Dream whined. Hoping George would stop adjusting the graphics and volume of his new video.

Though Dream couldn't help but awe at how concentrated George was. His brown eyes reflecting the square light from the screen beautifully.

George smiled, and lifted his arm up. Just enough for dream to rest against him, with his arm over his shoulder.
When George's arm fell over his shoulder, dreams brain almost short circuited. Not expecting George to actually to welcome him so quickly.

They'd only been dating a little bit, so dream was still very unused to love being reciprocated back to him.
In his past relationship, he was usually the only one who expressed love. He'd maybe get a kiss or hug every now and then. But that was it.

He now knew that the 'relationship' was very one sided. George was so much kinder to him than his ex.
Especially since George had always been so ready to give Dream love, but this was the first time he'd been able to cuddle with his boyfriend.

It was almost overwhelming.
George gently rubbed his shoulder, as his other hand moved around the keyboard. Hearing the clicking, and scrolling Dreams head hurt.
Even the tv showing a random Netflix series was extremely loud to him. Like all his senses had been cranked to the max.

George suddenly turned dreams head to face him. Using his jaw to keep him looking right at him.
A blush covered dreams cheeks. Contrasting light brown freckles to pink rosiness.

Smiling softly, george gently pressed his lips to dreams. Hearing to quiet hum Dream let pass though.

They were both flustered, as it was still one of their first kisses. After being friends for years, they wanted to take things slow. Ensuring nothing would break the relationship that only just formed.

Dream felt like he could cry he was so overwhelmed. The love, and the genuine passion George shared with him was astounding. Making him uncontrollably smile, and tears well in his dark greens eyes.

After being so used to being the only one showing his love physically and even emotionally, he didn't know what else to do but cry.

The tears were bittersweet. On one hand, he was incredibly happy that George was showing love to him, but not knowing how to handle or respond to it.
Because he was used to love being a rare thing he was shown, he still couldn't help but cry.

George had his eyes closed, as his slightly pinker lips were connected with his boyfriends.
Not knowing tears began to trickle down the others eyes.

Hearing a soft croak, George immediately opened his eyes. Brown irises locking with pretty green ones.

Pulling his lips away, George thought he made dream uncomfortable. Seeing how many more tears began to pour out of the others.
He was confused because he made sure to not deepen their kiss too much. Keeping it light and fluffy for the time being.

The brunette decided to abandon his laptop. Putting it to the side, while using both hands to rest against dreams. One on his shoulder and one on his arm.

"Dream, what happened?" George frantically asked.

Covering his face, dream sobbed into his hands. He himself not even understanding why he suddenly got to sad.

The light from the tv lit the side of the blonds face. Casting a shadow on his more prominent features.

George took a minute to process everything. Dreams tears, the laptop casting a dim light, the tv noises, and the sudle squirming from dream.
He'd known dreams past relationship was rough, but never really connected the dots until that moment.

Dream had been so starved for love and attention, that he didn't even know how to handle receiving it anymore.

When the realization kicked in, George gently cupped both of dreams cheeks. Using his soft palms to trace adorable freckles.

"Honey, why are you crying?" George asked again. Hoping Dream would give him some kind of answer to his thoughts.

"I- I don't know.." dream sniffled.

George gave him an earnest look of care as he gave him a tight hug. Holding a tight as he let dream cry it out. Running pale fingers through dirty blond waves.

"Shh, shh... I've got you" George reassured. Feeling the sharp inhales form his lovable boyfriend.

George whispered sweet nothings into dreams mind. Filling dreams head with George's amiable words.

"Dream, it's okay, don't cry baby" George cooed. Gently patting his hand against dreams shoulder while giving him soft kisses.

Dream became a puddle in his arms. Flopping around as George moved his face so it was easier to kiss.

The brunette decided dream deserved some more adoring love. Wanting to ensure him that their relationship wasn't one sided.

He pushed Dream onto his back. His head resting against the couch armrest, and George laying on his stomach.

The brunette couldn't help but admire the softer parts of Dream. His thighs, stomach, and hips. Softly grabbing at the skin that was on his upper waist.

George smiled kindly, as he wiped dreams tears away. Before lifting his shirt up enough to expose dreams stomach.
The brunette made an effort to pay special attention to the parts Dream had mentioned being insecure about.

Leaving trails of gentle kisses along his lower stomach, and going up to his neck. Smiling, and occasionally kissing stray tears that Travelled too far for his liking.

Dreams fuzzy mind was already in a daze. Letting George touch and feel the most sensitive and tender parts of his body. Uncontrollable smiles and tears mixing down his rosy cheeks.

It was when George kissed his nose was the final push he needed to shut his eyes and slow the tears. Even as he desperately clinged to George.

He never wanted this to end.
