It was August eleventh, and Dream was practically bouncing off the walls. He was truly overjoyed, as the day after would be his birthday.

He always loved birthdays. There was so much to love about the celebration. Giving presents, playing dumb games, listening to overly loud music, and hanging out with friends.

Dream loved the attention. I know that sounds self centred, but it was the one day everyone was nice to him. Congratulating him on his mere presence in this world.
Dream just loved sweet and kind attention. Giving, or receiving it; he just adored it.

The blond meticulously picked out an outfit. One that was his Favourite, and looked perfect. Spending far too long trying to make every detail exact and precise.

He was excited to see all his friends. Missing them dearly, as they were all so busy. Making it hard to find times to all hang out.
Thankfully, everyone who he wanted to come, was going to be there.

In fact, Dream had reserved a table at his favourite restaurant. It was fancy, yet casual. He was going to pay for all their food, which would be at least four-hundred dollars, as there was supposed to be seven people there.

Happiness fluttered through his body, jumping with nervousness, and cheeriness. He could barely fall asleep he was so thrilled.

Laying awake on his bed, Dream couldn't stop thinking about the day following. When he'd eat with his favourite people, while laughing and having the time of his life.

...............

Dream was up before his alarm in the morning. Bursting out of bed to shower to prepare himself. He wanted to look his best for photos his friend might take with him.

Taking extra moments to fluff his hair, Dream contently smiled at the mirror. He was just happy. He couldn't stop smiling all morning, and was very giddy.

He was slightly sad to not receive any 'happy birthday' texts, but assumed people were waiting for the party to do that.

Hearing a ding on his phone, the blond smiled seeing George's 'I love you' text. One he'd send each morning. Following it with how he was getting ready for his special day.

Dream made sure everything was perfect. The table he reserved, the time, the weather, his outfit, just everything.

He was so ready, that he still had another three hours until the dinner even started.

....

"Hello!" A waiter kindly smiled.

"Hi, I have a reservation" Dream sweetly grinned back. Thinking about how much fun he was about to have.

"Name?"

"Clay Dream"

The nice waitress led him up the stairs, to the top of the restaurant. At the roof.
It was used to host social gatherings, and since Dream wanted the dinner to go perfectly, he specifically reserved a table up there.

The sun was just setting, as Dream watched the cars go by.
The restaurant was downtown, so he had a clear view of beautiful buildings and people.

The green eyed man ordered whine, and some random appetizers. He didn't even like whine, he just knew one of his friends did.

The friends he was seeing were mostly from Highschool. As his online friends lived too far to fly, especially just to eat dinner.

Sending a text along the lines of excitement, Dream sat back and waited for the people to show.
Slowly sipping on the glass of whine he ordered, he relaxed and grinned. He was about to have the best time of his life, with his best friends.
