George and Dream were at the park. It was a beautiful snowy day, and they were sitting on the swings. It was fairly early, and the sun made the white snow sparkle. George was pushing Dream on the swing, and Dream was exceptionally giddy.

He was laughing, and giggling at every little thing. George thought he was adorable, as
He was laughing constantly. Just sweet laughter and giggles coming from him.

George pushed the swing more, as dream was babbling on about something "funny" and laughing at the snow kicking against his boots.

George held the swing chain, and stood in front of dream. Smiling at dreams rosy cheeks.

"Hi!" Dream smiled drunkenly. It was cute to see him strangely wholesome. Dream didn't even know what got into him.
He was just in a good mood.

"Are you okay?" George giggled

"Just happy!"

"You're just happy?"

"Yup." He said while popping the 'p'.

George pressed his lips to dreams. They were the same height since the blond was sitting on the swing still.

The air from their breath made a nice feeling in the air. Dream swung back slightly, and George couldn't help but smile. Dreams goofy grin made him feel perfect.

George went back behind his lovely boyfriend, and gently pushed him again. Dream was just laughing. Not wheezing, but the kind you do when your crush laughs at something you said.

George shook his head playfully, and kissed the dirty blond hair when it swung back.

"I love you!" Dream giggled sweetly.

George didn't answer. Just smiled nervously. It was very unexpected, and the first time it had been said in the relationship.

"I love youuu!" Dream cooed, thinking George didn't hear.

George nervously kissed his cheek, but didn't say anything back.
Dream was getting nervous. His heart dropped when George didn't immediately say it back.

"George? I love you.."

George opened his mouth, and Dream turned his head to see why it was taking him so long to say it back. Maybe he was too happy to form words? Did he say it too early?

Did George love him?

Dream looked back at the ground. His stomach hurt from the stress of George maybe not loving him. He felt the unwanted butterflies. More like moths. The ones you get when you get rejected.

George felt bad for not saying it. He did want to say it, he just couldn't. Like an irrational fear.

"Yeah.. um- lets go home, Im cold.." Dream said with a voice on the verge of tears.

George nodded and walked to the car with him. Realizing how he single handedly made dream sad. Seeing as his whole mood dropped in an instant. No more giggles, no mote happy stimmimg, no nothing.

He was going to reach for his hand, but decided against it. Dreams genuine hurt being hidden on his face.

...

The car ride home was silent, as both boys feeling awkward. George feeling guilty, and Dream overthinking.

When they got home, Dream kicked off his snowy boots, and rushed to their shared bedroom.
