Prompt: Dream gets scared while watching a movie

Dream gripped onto the wooly blanket. Hearing faint screams and ominous music. Sapnap, George, and karl could be heard gasping every now and then.

Dream deciding to avoid looking at the screen. He knew as soon as he looked, he'd be jumpscared, or shocked.

The movie was making all the friends adrenaline boil. Piping through them, as suspense got the better of them.

Dream was shaky, and frankly quite scared. He didn't want to seem like an idiot, but he was deeply terrified. He knew the image of the characters where printed into his brain.

"DUDE that guy just got his head chopped off!" Sapnap gasped.

"He's 100% going to die next" quackity added. Referring to another actor.

George giggled at the predictions, while taking a bite of his popcorn.
The sound of suspense flooded dreams mind, as he covered his eyes. He could still see flashes of light, and loud terrors.

Despite the blondes stubbornness, his curiosity got the best of him. He briefly looked up to the tv screen. Only a second later, he covered them again.

He wasn't good with horror. George vaguely knew about dreams hate for adrenaline. Yet somehow, he had convinced him to watch one of the scariest movies ever made.

Dream unintentionally let out a whimper. He didn't know how nervous he was until the moment. The fear of looking dumb, and the fear of the movie. It was overwhelming and nerve racking.

Nobody else heard dreams pathetic noise. Only George, who was sitting right beside him.

When George looked over to see his boyfriend criss-cross(applesauce) he immediately felt a wave of guilt wash over him. Dream was shaky, and eyes covered with his palms in order to not see anything.

"Baby?.. Are you okay?" He whispered.

Dream didn't want to try and hide the fear. It wouldn't work out, and he'd probably make himself look like an idiot.

"I'm scared"

"Oh, Dream.. Come here"

George made dream come closer. Letting his other rest his head in his shoulder.
George loved how well dream fit with him.

"You know it's not real right?"

Dream moved his head to be nuzzled into George's chest. George ran his fingers through dreams hair, gently leaving a kiss.

George did his best to keep quiet. He knew the blonde wouldn't want his other fiends to know he was scared of a movie. Whispering could only go so far.

Sapnap looked to tell Dream something, but noticed he wasn't where he was sitting before. Instead, he was cuddled up on George.
Though he smiled when the brunette gave an earnest look of care to the blonde.

George still patted, and detangled dreams slight bedhead. He knew it felt nice, and he still felt guilty for making Dream watch the movie.

Dream could hear the awful movie playing, and squeezed George slightly. He knew it was just a movie, yet the consequences coming afterwards. Nightmares, or paranoia was not something he desired.

"Sorry for making you watch this, we'll watch something better later, just you and I?"

The younger nodded and kissed George's neck. A light peck that would leave them both  feeling giddy.

Dream suggested they rewatch dreams Favourite movie. Sure they had seen it tons of times, but it was a go to comfort. Always a backup incase they needed a laugh, or happy moments.

Suddenly, the movie got louder.  Banging music booming through the room. The actors were being massacred,  and tortured.

George stopped playing with the dirty blonde curls. Instead, using his palms to cover dreams ears. The man was already holding onto George's upper arm, and wrist. Just wanting something to squeeze.

"It will be over soon, then we'll go watch, okay?"

The brunette rubbed a comforting pattern on dreams sweatshirt. Making it slow and precise.
Dream was melting into it, just loving the feeling of closeness.

The two preparing to go and spend another hour and half, watching dreams movie of choice. Though, equally looking forward to the quality time. Simply the infatuation for the better of them.

Maybe they'd even make popcorn.
