George and Dream were trying to cook. Sapnap was waiting for his own boyfriend to show up, karl having decided to come over.

George was boiling water, and was about to cut vegetables.
Dream was fiddling with the salt shaker on the counter, not being able to put it down. Each time he placed it, just never felt right.

Eventually, Sapnap came and took it from him. Putting it back on the counter himself, to give his friend some clarity. He couldn't put it down for at least five full minutes.

Thanking Sapnap sheepishly, Dream left to help George. Despite his ocd, Dream always wanted to help.
He wanted people to need him, as he loved helping. He wasn't very good at it, but he always tried his best.

It was usually people helping him. Giving him reassurance, calming him down, or telling him that it was okay he had ocd.

Dream went to wash his hands. Rewashing a few times until his mind was at ease. George watched him, feeling slightly bad that he felt like he had to wash his hands repeatedly.

Their whole friend group even felt slightly sad. Seeing Dream in a constant state of stress was heartbreaking.

Reaching for his hand, George showed dream how to cut the vegetables properly. Feeling how chapped the Blonds Hands were from washing.

The blond slowly cut the vegetables. He wanted to do it perfectly, as he wanted George to be proud of him.

He wanted reassurance. It was something he felt like he needed at least once a day. George didn't mind reassuring his boyfriend, as it was one of the symptoms of ocd.

"Is this good? Should I try it again?"

"It's perfect, don't worry" George smiled.

The brunette softly kissed dreams cheek, watching him concentrate on the vegetables. He looked so happy to be helping George, as it was usually the other way around.

Dream knew he needed more help than others, but George was fine with that.
He honestly loved helping dream with his ocd.

Dreams compulsions could be annoying and frustrating. George was always there to calm him down if it became too much.

Which is exactly why Dream always wanted to help. Almost making it up to George for the endless attention and love he brought to him.

One time, George stayed awake with dream all night; when his ocd made him think that something bad would happen if he fell asleep.

Dream felt like he was constantly stressed. No relaxation, as he was always worrying. Checking doors, windows, lights, or even ovens.
His brain forcing him to think that awful things would happen if he didn't do certain things.

For example, he'd think his mom would die if he didn't tap the door five times. Or that the house would catch on fire if he didn't switch the light until it felt right.

The amount of symptoms Dream suffered with was extraordinary. He had one of more severe forms of the disorder. It was messing with everything he did.

George was playfully chatting with sapnap, when he suddenly heard something fall. Turning his head to where the sound came from, George was surprised to see Dream frozen in place.
