Dream was always one of those people who got scared easily. He'd noticed it throughout his life, and it became a predicament.
His friends, unfortunately, were also quick to notice how jumpy he was.

He couldn't play horror games of any kind, or watch any scary movies. When he played 'Five Nights at Freddy's' he couldn't stop getting jump-scared.

Once, George scared him so bad he peed himself.

It didn't help that he was a light sleeper.
One time, patches knocked over something in his room while he was asleep. It scared him so badly he almost started hyperventilating from the sudden sound.

George slept in the same bed as him now, so he could calm dream now if he needed.
The brunette couldn't count how many times he'd soothed his boyfriend after nightmares.

So when the light hit dreams eyes in the morning, he was upset to find out George was already awake. Considering he wasn't in the bed, Dream had no reason to lay idly.

Yawning, he stumbled out from the soft sheets. Feet landing on the fluffy carpet beneath the bed.

When he got to the door, he opened it gently. Stepping through, and about to enter the hallway.

Just then, George jumped out from behind the corner. Arms up and yelling loudly.

Dream screamed, and covered his mouth with his hands when he saw it wasn't a monster coming to kill him.

"George!" Dream whined. Pushing the other lightly before continuing to walk down the hall.

George was giggling. Loving how he could get a reaction from the other every time.
"But you're so fun to scare!" He laughed loudly.

Rolling his eyes, Dream entered the kitchen. Going to the fridge to make something for his breakfast. He attempted to ignore his idiot boyfriend while doing so.

It was going smoothly. Dream humming his favourite song, and cutting up a bowl of fruits for a fruit salad. Even admiring his handiwork.

"BOO!" A sudden voice howled. Dream whipping around to see Sapnap pretending to get him. A malicious grin on his face.

Dream screeched and dropped his fruit salad. Watching the fruits fall to the tiles, and glass shatter.

"Oh- shit man!" Sapnap laughed happily. Getting the kick from watching his best friend scream at the top of his lungs.

Dream felt boils of frustration burn at his core. He'd only been awake for less than twenty-five minutes, and already scared twice. Not to mention his breakfast shattered on the kitchen tiles.

He didn't make a fuss, and only laughed it off. Not wanting to be angry, as he still wanted to have a good day. Sapnap didn't help clean it up as he was too busy toppling over in laughter with George.

Eventually, they left and Dream went to find something else to eat.

He didn't like being alone in the morning, but didn't want his boyfriend and best friend to scare him again.

Reaching for the freezer, dreams eyes lit up when he saw a box of eggos.
He absolutely adored them as they reminded him of his childhood, and they were the definition of delicious.

He wasn't as upset about his fruit salad anymore.

He put two waffles in the toaster oven, and threw the empty box out. Grimacing at seeing the fruits he'd had to waste when Sapnap scared him. Eyeing shards of glass stuck in the fruit, he sighed.
