Dream knew it wasn't a good idea. He knew from the moment he posted the video.
In fact, it had only been thirty minutes since it was posted.

He'd finally done it. Faced his fears and anxieties, and posted the face reveal. From the moment it went out, he turned everything off.

No twitter, instagram, TikTok, or anything. He knew for a fact he wasn't mentally ready to take everyone's opinions in.
Whether it he good or bad, he just wasn't ready.

He knew he was not the hottest person to walk the earth (that is george Ofc)

He sat on his bed, tucked in the corner, and stressed. George had came to check on him once, to make sure he was okay. He had read the thousands of tweets about his boyfriend, and was genuinely sad for him.

Eventually, he cracked. About four hours past, and Dream convinced himself he was mentally ready.

He was definitely not.

Opening twitter with shaky hands and urgency, Dream was shocked to see four hashtags trending.

Oh. Thats all he could think. Not knowing what he was expecting, but it was worse than he thought.

He never saw himself as 'ugly' before, yet there was just over thirty thousand tweets around that.

He scrolled through what people were comparing him to. He tried to laugh it off, but couldn't help the tinge in his heart.

"What are you laughing at?" George smiled, walking in.

Dream, being startled, just smiled back. Though he wanted to break down right there.

"Just people taking the piss out of my face" he laughed.

Dream was a good lier. He laughed his usual wheeze, while smiling wide.

"Oh! I saw, some of them are so funny!"

Dreams face faltered, but not enough to he noticed by George.

"Oh? Which one!"
Dreams happy voice was on the verge of breaking.

George swiped through a mix of photos. Dreams face beside a variety of cartoon characters and people.

Dream kept a week smile. Some weren't too bad, but some hit hard. People pointing out his chin, eyes, hair, anything they didn't like.

George laughed wholeheartedly. Dream following along.

Can you blame him though? George had no idea how much each opinion affected his wondering boyfriend.

Dream laughed, and laughed. It was getting to the point of manic. His lip quivered heavily, as giggles turned into more sob like.

George picked up on it quite quickly. Looking at the dirty blond, as was literally letting tears fall.

Still laughing it off.

His chuckles had a hurt sound at the end. The brunette seemingly realizing what was going on. Dreams laughing didn't cease even as water was released from his tear ducts.

"Dream..? What's going on?"

"They're so funny!! Look at this one!"

Dreams usual loveable laugh was getting psychotic. The blonds chest heaving as he was moments away from breaking down.
