Arashi and I just arrive at the castle to find it a war zone. Honestly, that was one of the only times in my life I was unsure on exactly what to do. We stay on the edge of the chaos doing our best not to get swept up in it. My superior eyes scan the battle when, to the east of the castle, I spy Yotfori, the vicious leader of the vile Yot clan. I think about repositioning away from her but alas, my thought came too late. Malice forms on her face when her eyes catch me, and I know for sure that she still remembers me for our last encounter. In a flash of pure energy, she darts at me. I drop and she flies over my head. Arashi flies back a distance, understandably scared of the whole situation.
Yotfori turns her head and unleashes a rancorous stream of energy at me. I dodge it with ease. Unfortunately, my super-heated ash cloud is rather ineffective at long distance this high up in the sky. Too much wind. Yotfori tries a second blast and I dodge again. My scales flash as I lower my horns and close distance. Fearlessly, and foolishly, she charges back at me. Our wills collide with great force. A massive crash comes from the castle while Yotfori and I exchange blows. Just like our last encounter, our speed and power are close to equal. Both of us land a small percentage of blows, but those that do land connect with great force. Her claw finds my stomach. My claw finds her shoulder. She thrust one of her powerful claws at my face. My head swivels on my surprisingly flexible neck and I sink my teeth into her arm just above the wrist. With all my ferocity, I spew forth my searing hot ash, incinerating her flesh and bone. Yotfori lets forth a scream that is nearly as loud as the battle. In more pain than her ego will allow to show, she flies back without her arm. Glowing white blood drips from her stump. After removing it from my mouth, I hold up the rest of the vile one's arm and taunt "You forgot something!"
Clutching her stump, her hateful form cries "Insolent whelp of Gaia! You will pay a trillion times over for that!"
She charges up a full blast as two of her minions rush into her aid. Just before Yotfori unleashes on me, she is struck on the right side of her face by a well-aimed mass of lighting. It burns her weak flesh to the bone. I look over and see the brave Arashi readying a second blast. My gaze snaps back as the minions of Yotfori rushing at me. Both shoot simultaneously. I dodge the first and the second grazes my tail. Another loud crash erupts from the castle. While the minions look at the castle, I speed in and headbutt one in the chest at full force. Stunned, it flies up in the air and starts to plummet. To break its fall, I release a wave of hot ash. As it plummets through the super-hot cloud, the flesh of the pure white dragon burns horrifically. Its wings take so much damage it cannot fly and falls from the sky. A blast from the second minion hits my left side. My shout of pain shakes the sky. A loud explosion emanates from the castle and roars across the chaos. Using the sound as a distraction, I shoot a small puff of ash. In the haze I move above the whelp of Yotfori. It frantically looks for me in every direction but up for some reason. With a roar, I plunge my hind claws deep into its surprisingly soft skull. My prisoner in tow, I dive at full speed. It tries in vain to free itself, an act I find most amusing. As suddenly as I started my dive, I stop and whip my legs forward. The Yot clan members body violently snaps and goes limp. I release it.
With my foes dispatched, my eyes scan until I locate Yotfori and Arashi. Though she took a few hits, Arashi is holding her own against the clan leader. I fly up behind Yotfori while her vileness blocks a flurry of strikes from Arashi. Without mercy I dig my back claws into the sides of Yotfori. My arms grab her wings. With a scream, she releases a desperation shot at Arashi. Arashi doges quite well and only gets grazed on the right wing. With a primal war cry I push off with my legs, violently ripping the wings off the pathetic Yotfori. Her body tumbles below the clouds leaving three trails of glowing blood. In a last act of defiance, Yotfori releases a mighty blast. Her aim is off, and it misses to the right. I race over to Arashi. She is hurt but holding up well considering the situation.
