Immortal love (Caius)

2 years later

The next two years continue as normal It was 2005 now, no more signs of dark magic I must've been right it was a clueless human dabbling in things they shouldn't have, and no more dreams of Caius. Well not including daydreams, there were lots of daydreams. Anyways life was mundane again, as mundane as it could be living with vampires and being a 300-year-old witch. I made a group of friends, and they were okay, I know what they really thought about my family and it wasn't always nice, but for the most part, they were nice. I first met Angela in the school's journalism club sophomore year, then she introduced me to Jessica, Mike, and Eric. 

They were nice but I knew they were a little wary of me since I was a Cullen. After some time they warmed up to me and liked having me around, sometimes I would even eat lunch with them. Along with my school friends, I started going to the local farmer's market held by the Quileute Tribe and made some friends on the reservation. The first time I told Esme and Carlisle I was going to the reservation for the farmers market they freaked, saying I couldn't go. Carlisle explained a truce they had with the tribe, no vampires allowed on their land. He told me their family was descendants of wolves and that vampires were their natural enemies and they had kept their peace for years. While I understood and of course didn't want to disturb the peace, I explained that I wasn't a vampire so technically I wouldn't be breaking any truces even though I was a Cullen. Although I knew I was right I still didn't want to be disrespectful, so I went to Billy Black and plead my case. I told him I only wanted to support the reservation, and buy fresh food. Of course, he immediately asked why I lived with the Cullens if I wasn't a 'cold one' so I told him my story and explained my origin. 

I told him I respected whatever decision he and the elders made, and that I too was a descendant of a powerful tribe so I understood the duty to protect it. A week later he called me and told me I and only I could come to the reservation whenever I wanted. This news pleasantly surprised Carlisle, he liked that I had a positive relationship with the Quileutes. It felt like all the weird and stressful things I was scared about two years ago just solved themselves. Or so I thought.
