Aria sat in class with Tess as they worked on the math problems that were on the board when a teacher walked in quietly, gesturing for her teacher to walk over. They talked in low voices for a few minutes before Aria’s teacher stood in front of the class.
“Ahem.” The man cleared his throat. “It appears that a few of the Krelboynes will be joining our class for a few weeks.” A majority of the class groaned but Aria and Tess shared confused looks. “Settle down, everyone. It’s only temporary, they’ll be back in their own classroom.”
A few Krelboynes were led in and Malcolm sighed in relief when he saw Aria with an empty seat in front of her. Malcolm was quick to sit in front of her, Lloyd however followed Malcolm and stood by his seat nervously.
“What are you doing?” Malcolm asked the boy.
“There’s no more seats.”
“There’s a seat over there.”
Lloyd shuffled awkwardly before he looked back at his friend. “Scoot over.”
“Go sit down. You’re going to get in trouble.”
Lloyd pursed his lips and walked to the empty seat that was on the other side of the room, Malcolm turns to Aria and Tess.
“Hey.” He greeted his best friend.
“Hey.”
“Sup?” He greeted the blonde next to her.
“Sup?”

The next day at lunch Aria sat with her bandmates and Malcolm sat with two boys, Eddie and Ian. The girls were talking about last minute touches for their end of the year performance, the closer that the end of the year got the more excited they got. They eventually got distracted and began talking about random things.
“Elle Woods is an icon.” Emma announced.
“Definitely. I don’t even know what she saw in Warner, he was a jerk.” Jane agreed and the rest made noises of agreements.
“I’m so glad that he ended up alone.”
“He didn’t deserve Elle or Vivian.”
“I want a relationship like Emmett and Elle.”
“Me too.”

Aria and Reese walked home from school laughing about some stupid joke he had told. Aria wanted to check on Dewey after she had learned that he had chicken pox, she had gotten it when she was eight and she knew it wasn’t fun.
They walked into the house and the girl’s jaw dropped when she saw dominoes lined up in the dining room and into the kitchen. As Aria moved to see that Dewey had spelled out his name in dominoes, she hadn’t heard Lois walk in.
“Reese! Don’t even think about it!” Aria jumped and turned around to see Lois holding the boy’s wrist as she glared at her son.
“What’s going on?” Hal asked. Aria hadn’t noticed the man either.
“He was about to knock over Dewey’s dominoes.”
“What? Shame on you!”
“I didn’t do anything.” Reese defended.
“And you’re not going to.” Lois said as she pulled Reese away from the dominoes. “Those dominoes are the only thing keeping Dewey from driving me crazy, and if they get knocked over I will blame you. If a door slams shut and knocks them over, I will blame you. If there’s an earthquake, I will blame you. If a condor flies in and crashes through our roof and knocks them over, I will blame you.”
