The girl came back to the common room after two days. She had to go to the nurses office because she had scratched herself pretty bad in her other form. Of course thanks to Remus the boys didn't find out and just thought she was in the hospital wing because she was sick. She really owed Remus one.
She walked into the great hall for breakfast completely healed and feeling much better than she had.
The four other marauders spot her from where they are sat and stand up straight away running over to her. Sirius is the first to reach her and pulls her into a massive hug and squeezes very tightly him inhaling the scent of her, which is wet forest and cinnamon, with an unusual scent of medical on her.
He suddenly remembers why he is hugging her and start bombarding her with questions looking her up and down to check that she is not harmed. "Are you okay? Not ill any more. Madame Pomphrey wouldn't let us into see you. Are you sure you are okay?"
"Sirius." The blue eyes girl tries but he keeps asking question after question after question "SIRIUS!" She shouts causing the boy to stop. "I am completely fine, much better. I looked like crap so I asked her to not let you boys in to see me. I didn't want you guys seeing me like that." Edith lies once again Madame Pomphrey didn't let anybody see her except Remus who explained the situation to her while feeding her chocolate.
"Thank Merlin!" She hears from behind Sirius.
"James." She says as he embraces her in a hug "Thankyou! Thankyou! Thankyou!" He half shouts spinning her around and around.
"James Potter put me down you mad man, why are you spinning me!?" Edith half shouts while laughing.
"You came just in time for the Quidditch match if you didn't we would have no chance in winning!" he sighs dramatically.
"Your lucky I think of you as a brother, otherwise you would be on the floor." Sirius says "Thinking about quidditch when Edith has just been with Madame Pomphrey for three days!" He starts ranting about how he should care more about his friends while Edith slips into the seat next to Remus and across from Peter.
"Hey boys!" She says as she helps herself to some food.
"Hey Edith!" Remus says giving her a smile before returning to his book.
"Hey Blue! Its good to have you back, those two won't shut up about you. James because he wanted you back for quidditch and Sirius because he was worried about you. I mean we all were be he was the most worried." Peter gushes smiling kindly at the fifth marauder that they had all been missing for the last couple of days.
"Edith, your back!" Lily comes over to the group that are now all eating.
"Hey Lils, yeah looks like it!" Edith replies smiling.
"I just wanted to say its nice to have you back and I was wondering if you are playing?" She asks sweetly to her fellow red head.
