Edith jolts awake covered in sweat. Yet another horrible memory haunts her nights. Silent tears flow out of her eyes. Its almost as if Remus knew that she might shift because of the overloading emotion. Edith pupils widen and Remus is Infront of her in seconds.
"You know who you really are Edith, Don't let it take control. This heart is where you truly live, this heart here, with us." Remus says quickly and quietly. Edith grips the sheets with her hands trying to force herself not to shift. "Remember where you are Edith, remember who you are."
Edith forces memories to reply in her mind of her and her friends, when they first met, when they swore to have each others backs forever, when they play pranks, when the boys told Remus about them becoming Animagus for him. She calms down her eyes returning to normal.
"I am sorry." She says holding her face in her hands "I am sorry." Remus just hugs her as the girl clings onto him sobbing. He knows his condition is bad, but he only shifts once a month and has the help of his friends, for her any high emotion and she is forced to shift and loses control.
"Its okay, I got you its okay." He says stroking the girl back as she sobs into his shoulder.
"Whats going on?" A croaky morning voice of Sirius Black asks.
"Edith's has a nightmare." Remus whispers back. Hearing these words Sirius instantly climbs out of bed and slowly steps on the floorboards to Edith's bed while Remus is hugging her. Sirius sits on the edge wrapping his arms around her back and softly leaning his head on her shoulder.
They stay like this until the early hours in the morning when they all fall back asleep.

The sunlight creeps through the open window and Edith scratches her eyes and sits up yawning. Looking around she sees that Remus and Sirius's beds are empty. She looks to the end of her bed where Sirius is half on half off and on the floor to her left there is Remus his head layed on her mattress.
"Bad night?" James asks coming back to the room with his quidditch jumper on and jeans his usual weekend outfit. Causing the other three boys to stir and slowly wake up.
"Sorry boys." Edith says referring to the two boys next to her
"Its alright." Says Sirius standing up his hair messy but a kind smile is on his face as he walks off to get changed.
"You alright?" Says Remus placing a soft hand on her shoulder. They both know he is not referring to the bad dream but the almost shift.
"Yeah" Edith replies dodging the question slightly "I should be asking you the same thing I just ruined your night before the Full moon." She says a bit louder reminding the other three boys that they are on Moony watch tonight.

The five head down for breakfast all dressed in muggle clothes for the weekend. James sits down next to Lily instantly wrapping an arm around her shoulder.
"So I thought that the six of us could hang out tonight?" Lily asks digging in to a pot of yogurt.
"Umm" All five of the marauders say at the same time exchanging looks with each other. Then with Remus who shakes his head left to right. No he doesn't want Lily to know yet.
"Look if you five are busy just say." Lily says noticing the exchange making her suspicious.
"We are busy." Peter says quietly but yet deadly serious.
"What are you lot doing then?" Lily asks.
"Playing a prank." James says quickly the usual excuse for a full moon.
"Okay" Lily says letting them know it is fine, Lily is not one for breaking rules. But that doesn't change the fact that she is curious what they are up to. They wouldn't exchange looks like that if it was just a prank. This is something much more dangerous and that makes her curious. Its time to do some research.

At 4:30 as usual Edith heads out towards the forest. She already told Remus that she had left like always. She can feel her wolf side wanting to break free the further she walks into the forest. As usual she puts her wand and extra clothes just in case in a protected case that Dumbledore made her so she can find it afterwards.
After that. She allows the shift. Her body falls to the floor and she screams in pain as all her bones break and mend themself in a different positions. Before she knows it the pain is over leaving her in wolf position on the floor. As the moon rises she can hear Remus howl and the other shift into their Animagus effortlessly she wishes her shift was as easy as theirs.
But I guess it is her fault she got bitten so she has no one else to blame but herself.
