Edith woke up early the next morning and actually surprised herself by doing so. She peacefully got dressed and quietly packed her trunk before walking down to the common room.
"Good morning!" She says seeing a raven haired boy sitting on the armchair.
"Morning Darling!" He says hugging her with a quick peck on the lips not wanting to get caught.
"Get a room!" Someone shouts causing the two to jump apart.
"It wasn't what it looked like!" Sirius say going bright in the face. But then seeing Lily he calms down grabbing Edith into his lap "It was exactly what it looked like." He says smiling.
"Seriously, Lily sees us kissing and you shout 'it wasn't what it looked like' you need to get better at lying." Edith says rolling her eyes.
Lily bursts out laughing. The moment was ruined when they heard others waking up so Edith had to jump off his lap and sit on the sofa instead of on his lap in the armchair.

Edith leads the way down the middle of the train to their train cabin. This time joined by Lily. Everyone was pretty happy to be going home for the summer, even Edith and Sirius were happy to be staying at the Potter's.
They found their compartment that they always went to and sat down. Edith however starts carving initials under the baggage rack. 'S.B+E.W+R.J.L+J.P+P.P (THE MARAUDERS)' and then underneath she adds another name '+ L.E and underneath that she writes COMPARTENT SINCE THEIR FIRST YEAR AT HOGWARTS 1971'.
"So everyone knew we were here." She says sitting next to Sirius.
"As if we could be forgotten!" James says rolling his eyes playfully. Causing Lily to kick him in the shin stating "I think it is cute!"
"Yeah, I-I don't want to be forgotten." Peter stutters.
"No one will ever forget you Pete." Remus assures.
"Promise?" He asks the group.
"Promise" Each off us confirm before sharing out sweets from the trolley and telling different pranks we pulled in past years to Lily.
Eventually Edith falls asleep her head on Sirius shoulder. Sirius smiles and drifts off as well placing his head ontop of hers. His hand resting on hers.
The group continues talking. But Lily nudges Remus whispering "Look."
Causing Remus to smile and shake his head. "Those two are made for each other" He whispers back smiling.
It was a great start to their summer holidays before their last year at their home. Hogwarts.
