"Aunt Edith! What." Harry says hurt evident in his face. "But your name is Edith B Wheeler."
"Edith Black Wheeler." She smiles at her godson "He is innocent I promise you. I loved James like a brother, so did Sirius, he would never be responsible for his death. I know him to well."
"Tell me about Peter Pettigrew!" Harry says his wand raised.
"He was at school with us, we thought he was our friend" Remus says looking at Edith for help.
"No Pettigrew is dead." He says moving his wand to where Edith and Sirius are standing hands intertwined. "You killed him!" He accused Sirius.
"No he didn't, me and Edith thought so to. Until you said about seeing his name on the map." Remus says.
"The map was lying then!" Harry shouts as if he is trying to convince himself.
"The map never lies!" Sirius shouts. "Pettigrew is alive! And he is right there!" He says pointing at Ron's lap.
"Me!" Ron cried "He is mental" He says trying to sit up.
"Ron, not you." Edith sighs.
"Your rat!" Sirius shouts.
"Scabbers has been in my family for..." He starts.
"Twelve years!" Cries Sirius "Curiously long life for a common garden rat." He shout pointing at the rat accusingly.
"He is missing a toe isn't he?" Asks Edith softer than Sirius but just as much power behind it.
"So what?" Asks Ron.
"All that they could find of Pettigrew was..." Harry starts but is interrupted.
"His Finger! The dirty coward cut it off so everyone would think he was dead! And then he transforms into a rat!" He says.
The rat squeaks loudly and Harry instructs "Show me!"
Sirius grabs the rat off of him.
"Leave him alone! Get off of him!" Ron Cries.
"Here Sirius I brought you wand." Edith says tossing him his wand she picked up from the ground many years ago. "Thanks love." He replies smiling at her. He places the rat on the piano and he runs around as they all direct spells at him. Eventually catching him when he tried to jump in between two rooms.
Sirius and Remus grab him out of the whole and throw him to the middle of the room. Ron looks disgusted as the man sniffs like a rat.
Harry stands there as Edith, Sirius and Remus stand in a triangle around him wands positioned ready to attack.
"Remus! Edith! Sirius! My old friends!" He says before trying to run in-between them causing them all to grab him and throw him back to the middle of the room.
"Harry look at you!" He says moving onto Harry. "You look so much like James, we were the best of friends."
"How dare you speak to Harry!" Cries Sirius, as Edith punches Pettigrew in the jaw he makes an angry noise and runs behind the piano. "How dare you talk about James Infront of him!" Sirius shouts as the three run over, blocking off all his exits.
"You sold James and Lily to Voldemort didn't you! What is worse is you did it on a full moon when you knew me and Edith couldn't come and stop him!" Remus says from one side.
"I didn't mean to!" The mouse man dramatically cries. "The dark lord you have no idea of the weapons he posses. "Edith, Blue. what would have you done? What would you have done?"
He says looking at the red head who is fuming "I would have died! I would have died rather then betray the marauders the people who I called family!" She shouts.
The mouse boy clings to Harry "Your dad, your dad wouldn't have wanted me dead. We were friends, he would have shown me mercy."
Edith punches him in the jaw again and Remus and Sirius pull him back to piano.
"You should of realized Peter! That is Voldemort wouldn't kill you! The three of us would! Together!" Sirius shouts, Peter trapped in the middle of Sirius, Remus and Edith.
"No!" Harry shouts.
Remus just looks tiered and looks at the boy "Harry this man is the reason you have no parents!"
"I know what he is, but we can take him to the castle." Harry says standing next to Edith.
"Bless you boy! Bless you!" He says almost praying to Harry.
"Get off!" Harry shouts "I said we would take you to the castle, then the dementors can have you!"
Peter's face goes pale and his whole demeanor changes and he starts to whimper.

Edith and Sirius help carry Ron. "Sorry about the bite, I bet that twinges a bit."
"A bit? A bit!" Cries Ron. "You almost tore my leg of."
"Well I was going for the rat!" Sirius tries to explain as Edith just shakes her head smiling "Normally I have a very sweet demeanor as a dog, more than once. James suggested that we make the change more permanent. The tail I can stand but the fleas they are murder."
They all climb out of the whomping willow. Sirius immediately wrapping his arm around Edith's shoulders. Leading her to go and look at the castle.
"It is beautiful isn't it?" He asks Edith.
"The castle, yes." Edith replies leaning her head on his shoulder.
"I meant you, but yes the castle is also very stunning." He laughs as Edith shakes her head smiling.
"Aunt Edith." Harry says walking down.
"Harry, my boy!" Edith says hugging him "I hope Sirius didn't give you any trauma with his show he does that sort of thing quite a lot."
"You love me for it though." He teases.
"Oh hush" she says smiling wider.
Edith leans her head on Sirius's shoulder as he leans in to her putting his arm around her waist. "I will never forget the first time I walked through those doors, it will be nice to do it again as a free man." Sirius says softly. "That was a noble thing you did back there Harry, he doesn't deserve it."
"Well I just don't think my dad would want his three best friends to become killers." He jokes "Besides, dead the truth dies with him, alive you are free."
"It would be nice to be free again, Edith we could travel Europe." Sirius suggests.
"And leave Rem, to fend for himself, you know how much he likes to third wheel." Edith jokes.
Behind them they head Pettigrew causing a fuss.
"I don't know if Edith has told you Harry, but when you were born James and Lily made me and Edith your god parents." Sirius speaks softly.
"I know" Harry replies.
"Well, I can understand if you would prefer to stay with your aunt and uncle, but if you ever wanted a different home. Me, Edith and Remus have this massive house next to a forest..." Sirius trails off.
"What come and live with you?" Harry asks somewhat surprised.
"Well it is just a though, I can understand if you don't want to." Sirius replies gripping Edith's waist harder causing Edith to smile widely.
