Edith opened the door to their new home. She looks around smiling meeting a certain Raven haired boy who also happened to be smiling.
"This is our home darling." He says lifting her up and spinning her around.
"It is, isn't it?" Edith says kissing the boy softly on the lips.
"Ewww, I don't need to see that, it is my home to remember?" Remus says walking in carrying a box.
Remus, Edith and Sirius had decided to stay together. They had all brought a small house next to the forest. Which is easier for Remus and Edith's shifts.
"Remus if you are going to do this every time we kiss I will throw you out." Sirius says rolling his eyes but still smiling.
Lily and James had decided to also move in together and had brought a small house in Godric Hollow. They were happy there and James still visited regularly and every full moon to help out. Peter had decided to travel so they didn't see him much but he did send regular owls.

It was about two months after leaving Hogwarts when James invited all the marauders over too his house. Saying he had news. Edith and Remus bet on weather they were engaged or not.
The three from the forest apperate landing right outside their house with a pop. They walk up to the house and knock on the door. James opens it a grin on his face.
"Prongs!" Edith shouts hugging him. "Hello Blue." James says hugging her tightly. Before proceeding in.
"Hello mate." Remus says also hugging him before following Edith inside.
James steps outside shutting the door so him and Sirius can have a serious conversation.
"It is good to see you Padfoot." James says hugging Sirius and patting him on the back. "You too Prongs." He replies.
"I take it you asked her to marry you?" Sirius asks a smirk on his face.
"Yes, it will be next fall." James replies with a smile on his face. "Now when are you asking Edith?" He urges.
"I am not sure it is a good idea. If one of us dies, I don't know if I could live with it." He says pacing back at forth.
"Padfoot Stop." James says placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "That's why it is the perfect time to do it, if one of you dies you know how much you loved each other."
"When did you become so smart?" Sirius says a smile on his face.
"I didn't, I fell in love." James replies.

Sirius walks into the lounge to see Edith sat on the sofa Remus on the floor next to her.
In the middle of the room admiring an object is Peter.
"Wormtail!" Sirius says hugging him. He awkwardly hugs back before sitting down.
Lily and James enter the room last standing Infront of them. His arm around Lily's waist.
"We are engaged!" She says showing her hand.
"What!" Edith says jumping off the seat and hugging Lily. And then James. Everyone smiles and congratulates them.
"You, owe me five Galleons!" Edith shouts pointing at Remus who reluctantly hands over the money.
"Were you betting on us?" James asks slightly outraged.
"Maybe." Edith replies as she slips the money into her pocket.
