Edith and Sirius sit together at the long table. waiting for Dumbledore 'the leader' of the order of the Phoenix to arrive.
"What is taking him so long?" Sirius yawns leaning his head of Edith shoulder. The marauders were all sat near each other with some other students in their year and older adults down the other side. Some people had come to say hello, like Hagrid, McGonigal, Molly and Arthur.
"Welcome!" A loud voice announces and they all turn to the door to greet the grey haired man who just arrived. "I am happy all of you have turned up, you are handpicked for being the best of the best, weather it is for your magic, expertise in flying or potion making. You all are here for a reason."
"There are terror on the streets and threats to our kind as well as the muggles, we are The Order of The Phoenix so we will work together to defeat it." Everyone looks at the old wizard serious expressions on their faces. "We must remain strong, if we are to give in, to fail, these dark wizards will take over. The wizarding world are counting on us and we will not let them down."
"I am sorry to inform you this is the last time The Order will meet face to face, we will not sabotage our future plans. I trust you can all cast a Patronus we will communicate via those."
Everyone listens intently, Lily and Remus taking notes so they don't forget the imformation they have required. Once Dumbledore had finished he bid them all farewell stating that 'he had students to get back to' and left. Leaving the rest of the order alone. One by one they started to apperate leaving just The marauders and Lily behind.
"That seemed stressful." Edith states.
"I wouldn't have put it any better" Sirius sighs.
"You are all coming to our Wedding right? Oh and my stag do! Edith you are also coming to my stag do right?" James asks deadly serious. Due to the Marauders being so close Edith instead of going to Lily's hen do will be going to James' stag do.
"James, now is not the time!" Lily says playfully smacking him in the back of the head. Causing the marauders to laugh, a playful atmosphere like they were back at Hogwarts filled the air. Like they forgot what was going on in the wizarding world at the moment. Like they forgot they had to cast spells around the house to keep themselves safe. Like they forgot that they have to keep a wand on them while shifting on a fullmoon.
"I don't think we would ever miss your wedding Prongs." Remus laughs.
"Yeah we are all coming!" Sirius says.
"I am even attending you Stag do which by the way is extremely ironic." Edith says rolling her eyes.
"It is like they named the party after me!" James says rolling his eyes. "Anyway it is going to be next week!"
"What!" Everyone shouts.
"Well we don't want to have it in the middle of a war, we want all our friends and family to be present." Lily says taking James' hand who smiles softly at her. Edith sees their love and cannot blame them for wanting to move it forward.
"If you two are happy then we are happy!" Edith says smiling as Sirius reaches out for her hand intertwining their fingers.
"What my girl said." Sirius says a smile on his face.
