"Edith, you need to get in your robes we are nearly there." A velvet voice says softly waking her from her sleep. She lifts her head off of Sirius' shoulder.
"Thanks Pads." She says before leaving the room.
She was getting better, that's one way of putting it. The thought of her parents doesn't make her want to shift anymore thanks to Remus's help. The Potters also have offered her a room at their house for every holiday. Which is nice of them. She is back with her family, the marauders. So she is at home.
She walks back into the compartment with an outfit which is like half robes. With her school tie and jumper but then ripped black jeans and a leather jacket, that may or may not be Sirius's old one that doesn't fit him anymore.
This year is Edith's sixth year at Hogwarts. Next year it will be over and she would have to function in the Adult outside world. Without being able to see her fellow marauders faces first thing every morning. Or prank new students. Or simply be The Marauders. She is not sure if she is ready to leave it all behind.
She returns to the cabin to find the boys ready. James is wearing his full uniform except from a cloak as well as Remus who is wearing a vest jumper. Then there is Peter who is wearing his full uniform. And finally Sirius Black who is taller and broader than ever with his raven hair around his chin. He wears his famous rolled up sleaved look with his tie undone and baggy black jeans.
"Awoooo" Remus jokingly howls "isn't that Padfoots jacket?" He asks slyly.
"Old jacket" Edith confirms sitting down to her previous spot next to Sirius with James, Peter and Remus across from her.
"Your gonna get told off for that outfit." Peter says looking directly at her.
"Well yeah, I realized that when I put it on Pete," She says rolling her eyes and relaxing back into her chair.
"Happy to have your Sassiness back, Blue." Sirius says jokingly knocking her with his shoulder.
"Glad to be back Paddy." She says elbowing him back.
The rest of the marauders smile as well, it is nice to have Edith back to her normal self. They all missed her and want her to feel herself again.

The five make their way onto the flatform sighingly smirking as they walk up to the castle instead of getting in a carriage. They walk outside the doors of the great hall to be greeted by a thunderstruck McGonigal.
"Your late." She says firmly as the first years waiting to go inside and watching eagerly at the five about to be told off.
"Well you didn't expect us to be early, did you Minnie." James says perfectly relaxed.
"I see you five have not changed over the summer break." She says sighing but not surprised.
"Minnie, in our defense we did all spend the last week of the summer at James'." Sirius says with an arrogant smirk plastered on his face. The mask he wears around others.
Minnie just rolls her eyes "Get in all of you, you have held us up long enough."
James Potter is in-front pushing open the big doors and struts in like he owns the place, behind him Sirius Black lopes with an easy grace, his hands in his pocket and a smirk on his face. Behind him is Edith Wheeler who has a half smirk on her face as she jokes with Remus Lupin who's hair is untamed and messy he has a lopsided smile on his face. Then last but not forgotten Peter Pettigrew who shyly runs a hand through his neat hair trying to keep up with his friends.
All the students watch them enter in awe. There is a reason they are the marauders, everyone can't help but admire them and their reckless ways.
The Gryffindors make space for them and they sit down together. Sirius puts an arm around Edith's shoulder who relaxes into it. With James on his other side an arm around Lily Evans. Across from them Remus and Peter, smiling happy enough to be back.
"God, it feels good to be back!" James exclaims while they dig into the feast. Causing the marauders and those who heard him to laugh at his antics. Everyone cannot help but like or dislike the marauders that's just the way it is.
